Happy with my experience with Total Renovating and would definitely use them again. They were priced well in comparison to other local options, easy to communicate with throughout the project and stuck to the timeline.

Total Renovating Total Renovating was the answer to our prayers; I was in a bind and was having doubts about whether we could sell our home unless something miraculous happened. I finished putting up drywall in my basement over Covid. I needed to pull the proper permits with the county. When my wife and I decided to sell our home, we reached out to the county, and they said unless we opened up all our walls and correctly installed fire stopping in compliance with the code, we would be in violation and unable to sell our home. We received estimates as low as 7k and as high as 34K. Total Renovating estimate was in the middle; more importantly, they were the only contractor who understood the scope of work and could meet our last-minute schedule. Total Renovating, from our initial introduction to the last payment received, was responsive, had a positive can-do attitude, was professional, punctual, and outperformed beyond my expectations. I canâ t express how stressed my wife and I were; they were a blessing to us. Please consider Russel and his team for any home project you may have. Hindsight, I wish I would have just called them instead of trying to do it myself.

We had a complicated bathroom remodel which required a complete overhaul of the layout of the bathroom. The owner, Russell, was able to help me come up with a design that would utilitize the space to the fullest. The moving of the toilet, plumbing, and electric required a county inspection which the company was not intimidated by and I was thankful to have a company that was licensed, insured, and willing to do what was required. They were also very accommodating when it came to the timeline as I had several required stops and starts. There were some complications with communication, lack of detail, and leaving things dirty by the work crew which did cause frustration during the process. However, Russell made sure everything was ultimately resolved and the end result was a beautiful bathroom that I was very happy with.

Effortlessly. Price was definitely competitive. The two things we like aside from the quality craftsmanship was: (1) personable; and (2) the rendering / virtual design studio. Total Renovating's virtual design studio allowed us to see it, like it/dislike it, change it, and make it our own before a dime was spent.

We're SO happy with our full master bathroom reno! We're first-time homeowners so had no idea what to expect for a project like this in terms of cost, process, timing, etc-- Russell guided us through the process and was responsive, helpful, and understanding the whole time, even when I kept changing my mind about things. All of the sub contractors (demo, tile, glass, plumbing, etc) throughout the project were super efficient, friendly and professional. Overall, Total Renovating was a joy to work with and provided excellent value-- we'll definitely be using them again when it comes time to do our guest bath and kitchen.

Russell and his team are consummate professionals and take the time to let you know every step of the process team. His team always cleaned up after themselves and we throughly enjoyed the entire process.

He did a beautiful full kitchen remodel for us as well as two partial bath remodels, putting in a new window, siding repair and a couple smaller things around the house. He went above and beyond working with us even before the contract was signed to identify materials that we liked so that the estimate would be as accurate as possible, which we really appreciated as it was not something we got from the other contractors we were in talks with. He was also able to finish our kitchen on a much shorter timeline than the other bidders were estimating. Russell and his team were responsive, transparent and reliable throughout the process and we are extremely happy with the finished product!

We had a total renovation of our basement including a kitchen and bathroom. Russell Blake was professional and very responsive. He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. His crews were punctual and cleaned up daily. I was very happy with the whole process.

Russell and his crew at Total Renovating did a superb job adding a new full bath and laundry room to our basement. In addition, they replaced our existing flooring with Laminate Vinyl Plank (LVP) throughout our house. As new homeowners of our 20+-year-old home, this was our first big renovation project, and we were nervous. But Russell and Tyron came through from day one. They offered a detailed design session, a thorough walkthrough of what the work would entail, consistent communication on change requests and questions, and prompt remediation of any issues that arose. Also included in this fantastic team are some very hardworking contractors/renovators who arrived on time and accommodated our schedule (we have a one-year-old) but also went the extra mile to work Saturdays to meet our project's timeline. Based on our experience with Total Renovating, my wife and I couldn't be happier and are already starting to plan our home's next project!

Russell & his team completely renovated both bathrooms in my condo a few months ago. They did such a great job, I had them totally renovate my kitchen as well! His team was very professional and timely with the work that was done! They replaced cabinets, floors & installed recess lights. Everything looks amazing!
