In general, the job was performed well. Ben, the owner, gave a reasonable quote which included all materials. Kudos to the crew, Armando and Andres, who we found to be hardworking, knowledgeable, and experienced in their skills. We had two minor issues after the job was completed which were promptly addressed and corrected. There was, however, a misunderstanding after the work started. At the onset, we were led to believe that repair of light to moderate damage (like mold and wood damage) was included in the original estimate. But later, we were informed that there would have been an extra charge had damage been discovered. Fortunately, that wasn't necessary. We recommend the extent of repair work be clarified in the estimate before work begins (i.e., at what point will additional charges be required if damages are worse than anticipated). Overall, Ben and his crew did excellent work. The price was fair and, once the project started, Armando and Andres worked straight through to completion. We highly recommend Total Construction and Remodeling, Inc. and would hire them again for future projects.
