Doors (Interior) Installation and Replacement
He should have known from the start what this project required. I blame Angies for referring this person to me. I trusted your recommendation/referral. I assumed the people you refer are professionals on the project request. I want to be refunded for the damage to my door and my cracked trim, which both will need to be completely replaced.
Response from Total Fix
"I respectfully disagree with the complaint and the request for a refund. The customer requested the installation of a 24 x 81 glass pantry door. The existing MDF door frame was extremely tight for the exact size of the new door. I installed the door and all three hinges. Because of the MDF frame and the very tight fit, longer screws were needed to securely fasten the hinges and pull the frame slightly toward the structural framing. This is a normal installation adjustment when working with this type of frame. The installation was substantially completed. The only remaining step was preparing the hole for the door lock/handle, and I had the necessary tools with me to complete it. However, the customer stated that she did not have additional time and mentioned that her husband might handle the remaining work or replace the door. At no point after the job did the customer contact me and ask me to return to correct, adjust, or complete anything. I was never given an opportunity to inspect or address any concern with the installation. The customer paid $200 via Zelle for the work performed. Since the door was installed with all three hinges and I was not asked to return to make any correction or complete the remaining step, I do not believe a refund is justified."

Doors (Exterior) Installation and Replacement
The man from this company was hired to install an exterior door. Upon removing the original door instead of lightly pulling off the trim to be reused, he completely tore it up making it necessary to buy all new trim. Although he hung the frame level, the door was not level. I addressed that issue to him and he never offered to come back and fix it, so I had to do it because the deadbolt would not lock unless I held the door up before turning the knob. Beaware that although he will give you an initial installation, if you are missing any supplies such as longer screws or Liquid Nails he will go and get them but he will charge you that cost Plus additional fees for his time to get them. Now I have to go buy all new trim and hang it myself. In addition he left a complete mess that we had to clean up. For the money he charged the service was not worth it.
Response from Total Fix
"Thank you for your feedback. My responsibility. Was the exterior. door installation only. Material purchasing. Was not included. in my scope of work. additional materials pickups require a travel time and cost. also, your wife. started that the time. would be purchasing. and installed by her husband therefore time work was not included in my scope thank you so much"

This man is a criminal , the money l paid him he never did the complete job. He collected $850 only to fix curtain and Tv and refused to do other job assigned to him .
Response from Total Fix
"We agreed on the installation of fourteen curtains and an 85-inch TV for a total of $850, and all agreed work was fully completed. I?m not sure what additional work you are referring to, but I?d be happy to discuss and clarify if needed."
