Total Home Cleanings serves its customers with pride, integrity and attention to the details that matter most to you. We clean homes and offices of all kinds. We are licensed, bonded and insured. With our team of 12 employees, we handle everything from 1 bedroom apartments to 7 bedroom homes to office spaces. 50% of the homes we clean are residences of our clients, 25% are vacation rental homes needing cleaning between renters and another 25% are homes managed by any of the Home Watch or Property Mgmt companies that we partner with.

I had a VERY hard time trying to find a cleaning company that was BONDED and INSURED. Total Home Cleanings DOES HAVE BOTH so I told them what my needs were and they went "out of the box" to do what I needed cleaning and they got hired!!! Excellent work and very nice employees/mgt.:)

Daniel called me the day I put in the request for a cleaning service and we talked about the work I needed done. The girl, Alicia, that did the cleaning did a wonderful job and she jumped right in with no problems. I did have a few problems with the owner, though. We were supposed to be scheduled for October 10th around 1:30-2pm and they never showed. When I called he said it was mistaken and that it was another day. I was also quoted at $30 an hour and was told it would take 2 hours, but I was charged about $68 instead. The girl came out twice because she did such a good job, but my card statement showed that he charged me for the second job before it had even been completed.

"As you said below we agreed on $30/hr. Alícia reported 2 hours and 15 mins at your home which equates to $67.50 using $30/hr. Our appointment was for Oct 3, not Oct 10th. This was 2 weeks from our last visit. We arrived and rang the bell several times, called several times and left 2 voicemails. Never received a return call until Oct 9 and the customer wanted service on Oct 10th which we couldn?t accommodate. Customer says she didn?t have an Oct 3 appointment but it was odd because she wanted service every 2 weeks and Oct 3 was 2 weeks"

Dan Caruso, the owner of this company was interviewed by me to do a deep cleaning of my home. He made many promises, most of which were not kept. He did not provide enough help or time to do a proper job. He stated three hours was enough time, even though I insisted it could not be done in that amount of time. They became angry when I called them back to show them things they had missed. They had, obviously, not been given the same information I had and continued with their superficial job. I called Dan and he said he would be over to get things on track. Then he called and accused me of calling the police. I told him that was ridiculous. Then he stated on of the cleaning ladies had called the police. He said he was on his way over, and the girls walked out without completing the job. They left a mess. The police showed up, but Dan did not come to the house. I told the police his behavior was erratic and I was frightened. The police said not to pay him or let him into the house. He is very volatile and called back to say he would see us in court. I am frightened and would advise people to ignore Dan Caruso and Total Home Cleanings. Do yourself a favor and do not get involved with this company.

"Judy?s comments are not accurate in any way, shape or form. At the start of the cleaning, we had agreed on 3.5 hours with 2 of our ladies for $190. When we got to the home, she saw the 2 ladies and we all agreed it be 3.5 hours for $190. She did say ?what if I want more time? and I said we bill that at $30/hr per lady and she said it was fine. The client called me at 30 mins into the cleaning to say she wasn?t happy with the service. I asked why and she couldn?t tell me why. I reluctantly allowed the girls to continue and they stayed 4 hours. She is choosing not to pay. We are out $150 in labor. Yes we will see her in court"

Daniel told me one price on the phone and then another price on arrival and less time. He also said he just had the girls on a 2000 sq ft job done in 3 hrs. Then his girls stated they had been on an 8 hr cleaning job, and 3 hrs was not enough. They said the needed more time. Which means he did not tell the truth, and I was cheated out of 1 hr of work. I will also tell you, Daniel WAS RUDE and this does not make for good business. I will tell you his girls where very nice. I would never reccommend his company. I even offered to tip the girls and the lady taking the money said no it was not enough time to clean my house and she felt bad. I would hire the girls privately but never this company.

"Mia is a bad listener. Examples: 1) we agreed on $165 for 3 hours. when we arrived she told my girls she wanted 4 hours. I earlier sent Mia an email about the arrival time, price and hours. Nothing was subjective. 2) Mia says my girls told her they were on an 8 hour cleaning prior to hers. But, we arrived at 2pm at her home. So she's suggesting my girls started work prior to 6am? No Mia. You didn't listen to me or them. They were on a 3 hour cleaning earlier and a 2 hour cleaning before that. Total 8 hours for the day including your 3 hour cleaning. 3) Mia called twice to confirm that a man would not be cleaning her home. Mia, listen!"
