They finally arrived for an estimate, and then when we decided to hire them, we gave them some money down and they were to return the next day and do the job. Well they did not show up. Finally after 3 calls they came out. It was late in the evening, and we were not so happy with this. Then they said they need to go get some pipe to finish the job. They were gone about 1 hr. I am sure they went to eat dinner, and this made me even madder, since we had not eaten yet either. Finally they returned and completed the job, and we wrote the final check.We got a call later that same evening saying that they had added incorrectly. I say be forewarned.

Unclear estimate, late arrival, problem not fixed on initial visit

They did a very good job.

They did not complet the work untill two week after the work should have been done and now i still have to have another plumber to come out an complete the job the did not complete.

Matt was always on time and was extremely nice. He did a great job and the price was very reasonable and right on the money from the estimate. It is extremely nice to find someone such as Matt that is as knowledgeable and friendly as he is. I had immediate trust in him when I first met him. I would recommend Matt and will definitely be asking him to help me out with future projects. If you need someone honest, trustworthy and that does great work that is on time and reasonable you should call Matt!

total disaster...they were like 3 charging rhinos, left a huge mess, and didn't even fix the problem !

Very Poor---Paid a deposit in cash and Total Home did not finish the work and would not give money back. Every time I call to ask for my money back the owner put me off. I would not use this service again or do not pay in cash.

The whole job was very unorganized and seemed like a joke. He did not have an actual receipt for the service, asked me to pay up front for the parts so he could go buy them, and he arrived hours later than the original time that we had set. The job was done correctly as far as I know but the experience was one of a kind when it came to customer service.

Didn't show twice. Made excuses like his "computer was down." When he finally did show he raised the estimate $68 without explanation. Acted annoyed I wanted to get another estimate and acted like I owed him the job because it took an hour of his time - after I wasted two whole days waiting on him with missed appointments. Told me I should have told him it was just a "washer box" over the phone and he could have just told me how much it would be. I had told him that on the phone and he had given the lower estimate. Didn't give a reason for raising price. Acted like he never gave me the 1st quote. Tracked sewage into house on shoes. Avoid.

They were extremely fast and kind, however I was quoted a different price than charged but they quickly fixed that when brought to their attention. I am also still waiting on a credit card receipt to be emailed to me and it's been 2 weeks.

On time, friendly, professional

Good guys, friendly, courteous and honest. Priced affordably (half the price we got quoted from Gennings Plumbing). Installed fixture quicker than expected and left no mess behind. We will use them again in the future. Thanks again to Mr. Busby, we appreciate your service.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB

The installation went well, but the new-in-the-box hot water heater was defective (not their fault). They came back the same day to analyze the problem and took care of it promptly.

We had a hard time getting hold of them at the beginning, but they were very nice and did an excellent job fixing our pipes in a timely manor. The only complaint I have is that they left some of the old plumbing behind and spilled some of the chemical they used under the house.

They arrived on time and did good work.

We hired Total Home Services Sat., May 16th. 1130am, by 1155am Mike was at my bank.. RED FLAG!!! I know we all hear the old saying, "You, get what you pay for" (we had to use the contractor that fit out budget and this company was in the mid-range). Project should have been 4days 5/18-21/09, how about 9dys. I lost$ 220.00 non refund airline 5/27/09... unable to travel. I was told they would put my neighbors curb/yard back... if you did it they did. What really got me was the week of 25th, the expected ME tp pay the subcontractors after recvg $3000.00 up front for supplies. I didn't see $1000.00 for the job. Did I pay for a 4dy vacation 4Mike

Before even 6 months were up, all the concrete they poured on both sides of the house is chipping away, I will have to pay another contractor to replace every bit of it. I would stay as far away from them as possible. I had problems with their cleanup, which Servicemagic made them fix otherwise it would have cost me thousands to correct. They painted over my concrete to cover the spilled stained concrete, now that paint is chipping away as well. The condition of the new concrete they poured is beyond disgusting. System won't allow me to remove the one star above or I would.

They continually promised to come at a certain time and not show up. We had 4 appt. before we ever got the thing installed! They made a mess and didn't clean it up, thier supervisor dropped off his crew and left for the afternoon leaving his workers by theirselves and then got irrate with us when we objected to them leaving a chunk of concrete slab out by the street. h Then he and one of his crew members got into a shouting match in our front yard! When we went to turn on the pump for the first time, it sprayed water everywhere. Mike finally got it fixed the following weekend. Never in a million years would I recommend this company!!!

Overall, they were adequate. Biggest complaint is they arrived almost four hours after expected time. I thought there labor rate on top of the flat service call fee tended to be high as that totaled $187.50 for an hour and a half work. The work was done well when completed.
