Project: Repair Oil Furnace / Forced Air Heating System
They were very polite and neat and worked quickly. They also did extra work in flushing our gas water heater at no extra charge. The only negative was they found a valve that wasn't working on the furnace but did not repair it. Not sure why. It was on the invoice we got in the mail but they did not mention it to me

Too big a company Too many layers. I requested a routine service repair. Was given a 7 day later date and time. Was told I would get a confirmation call. Never happened . On the day and time of my scheduled service call , no one showed up, when I called, service rep said sorry, too many emergencies , no other explanation. Next service call another 8 days away. Totally unacceptable when I already waited a week. Two days later routine call fixed by other contractor not on home advisor all is well. Bad web site. Think it is fixed by false positive recommendations . Let's see how long this feedback shows up.
Response by Total Mechanical Systems, LLC: Dear Penni, I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with our company. We take pride in taking care of our customers at Total Mechanical Systems. In response to your review, according to our records we spoke with you on 7/11/2016 to set an appointment to do a routine maintenance to your AC system. At the time of your call, you stated that the AC system was installed by another company and had not been maintained in at least 4 years. We scheduled an appointment for you on 7/18/2016 between 1-3 and according to our records a message was left to confirm your appointment on 7/15/16, due to the day before your appointment being a Sunday and we are not in the office. According to our records we spoke to you on the 18th the day of your appointment at 1:17pm to let you know that due to emergencies our technician was unable to come out and we needed to reschedule your appointment. At this point you became very upset with Christina, our Customer Service Representative and hung the phone up on her. I understand your frustration with our company, but to our defense, this summer was one of the hottest on record. We were EXTREMELY busy with emergency service calls due to the excessive heat. These calls were for previous customers whom had no air-conditioning whatsoever, and large Corporations who had freezers down. Being a customer of Total Mechanical Systems Guarantees you that we respond within 24 hours of the time of your call. At the time of your call you were not a customer nor did your cleaning warrant an emergency. Unfortunately in the Service Industry we have to choose between emergencies and scheduled maintenance . We are sorry for the inconvenience.
