I had a special project, and they did an awesome job with tiling. It was something of a unique project. Must admit it took the old look to a whole new level. They are great at their job. I assure you if hiring them, you will not be disappointed. This will be my go-to company for jobs to come. And definitely would recommend you to hire them as well. Keep up the great work, Terrance and Son!

The guy name is Terrence Holloway and he works with son. The name of his company is Total Services. We hired this guy to remove gutters, replace facial boards and trim then install new gutters and paint house. My mother is 74 years old and had been looking forward to having her house worked on by Terrence. He requested half of the money for the total job up front. Around 3 thousand dollars. He and his son took the old gutters off home and left piled up in the backyard. They came back one more time and replaced 4 pieces of facial board. He's had our money for over three months and he refuses to finish work and won't return calls or texts. Who takes money from a 74 year old woman in the middle of a pandemic? I'll tell you Terrence Holloway. He need to change name from total services to total RIP off. I warning you stay away from this guy.

Warning!!! Paid in full cash. Did not get the job done. Refused to give a receipt once paid the cash, thought he was to get the materials. Promised to send an invoice agreement with a supply list of the materials purchased and receipt for payment and never received. Do not use this contractor your job will not get done.

I hired Terence to complete some repairs for my home ready to sell. We agreed that first he would finish any previous work and concentrate only on my home and he said it would take 7-10 days. He stated he would text me every night of his progress and ensured me he would finish on schedule. He never texts me any completed work until I mentioned it to him of what he said he would do. There were days where we did not see too much work done and it was nearing the end of the 10 days. Terence kept insisting he would be able to finish. He finished 10 days later. I paid him the total of what was asked and he ensured me that he would have everything completed and done professionally. One of his workers fell through the ceiling in my garage and he did the initial work to close the hole. Even then after he finally finished all that was on our contract, he was telling me he would finish the garage. I reiterated that we had an appraiser coming and he said that the gaping hole in the ceiling would not be a problem. I insisted I did not want it to look like that and wanted it done. I got a call on Fri or Sat stating his work would be over there and finish. The worker came but did not do absolutely anything. He stopped answering my phone calls and text. I think this is highly UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHOWS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. He also put on a screen door and there are gaps in the top of the door and the hydraulic does not work nor does it close properly. He said he would take a look at it and nothing was done with that. The other jobs on our contract were completed to satisfaction. Completing a job and taking the time to get it done regardless of your contractual agreement is not acceptable. It cost us issues with the prospective buyer and $305.00 for Patchwork, another company I hired to complete the work in the garage. I feel Terence could be awesome if he strives to get more workers, which we discussed. We also discussed how he still had not finished a previous job and he even stated the other person said she was being patient enough. This shows he was not truthful with me when he said he would finish previous jobs and only concentrate on my job. We will not take Terence to court to retrieve our $305.00. I hope that he finds in his heart to give us that money back since it was his work that fell through the ceiling and his responsibility to fix it. I also feel he should give us some money back from our contract for he did not complete the job as agreed upon. If I use any handyman or any service from Homeadvisor I will ensure that that clause will be in the contract so they will hire some other workers to ensure they complete the job on time because then they will be losing money and not the client. I would also recommend that Home Advisor take some responsibility for negative reviews to reach out to the company to get their side of the story and to try to help alleviate a reoccurring negative review. I have no reason to exaggerate or make up anything untruthful with my experience with Total Services. Again, the work done was mostly satisfactorily but I would not recommend this company due to the nature of the poor customer service. Most all handymen can do the same thing but if they know they are going over the scheduled time it would be some apology or some effort to complete the job on time as agreed and we feel Terence showed little concern for finishing 10 days past contractual agreement. I would suggest that Home advisor get more involved when there are service agreements over 10,000 which ours was. We bought too much flooring and he also took that and left us with some pieces. I felt we should have all the materials left over and next time that will be in a contract if I use anyone from Home Advisor again. I see he has good reviews and I wonder what was the rating for customer service.

They said they would be here at ten. Then said they didn’t even have me on their list but said they would come at three and showed up at 3:40. The work they did was good and done in a timely mater. If they hope to grow they need a better system. I would not recommend simply because of the time.

Total Services was very professional. They responded to my request quickly and did an excellent job. Although this handy man job was small compared to other jobs I will have in the future, I have gained confidence in them from this first job and I will definitely use them again. I will definitely recommend them to family, friends and others.
