Touch Above The Rest

This gent painted the room, layed the flooring, doing a good job. Next project was to finish the stairway since we had pulled up the carpet. Everything was going good, last saw him Nov 2019, all he had left to do was put on a piece of trim and take care of some stair treads that were popping loose, plus one minor corner with trim. He stated he would be back the following week, didn't hear anything until I had put a call into him after Christmas. He stated that he had been out of town for a month, just getting back and would finish up the following week. That week came, on the day of, he called with an excuse, will show up the next day, the next day, same thing called with an excuse, will show up the next day, again next day calling with an excuse. Have not heard from him since that time and he won't return calls. I would not recommend him to anyone

I felt like I was the last priority in his jobs. I understand his grandmother died at one point, but I had to call 3 times to get a response. More than once did that happen. He would say, *I would be there at 9,* he might show up at 1 or may not show up at all and not call.

I hired touch above the rest to replace my deck boards and runners and reinstall the railing that had to be taken down to replace the boards, some rotted wood under my front porch, paint that wood that was replaced, replace a back door, and seal the deck. The project started out good. Robbie was a little slow but I was okay with that as long as the work was finished. He was good at keeping in contact at first. However, he received a good chunk of the money and did not return to complete the door (which I paid him to purchase) nor the front porch or the sealing on the deck. He completed the deck but was here in the dark trying to finish. During the daylight, it became noticeable that when putting the railing back on he did not put the railing back exactly as he took it off. The railing did not line up properly. My spouse and I have tried to make contact with Robbie and he had stated that he would return one afternoon and never did. Contacted a week or so after that and he left me a voicemail apologizing and told me he would be there the next day and never showed. Recently we have tried to contact him with no avail. We had just requested he give us the door or the money we paid for the door and the paint can he had to match paint. He has failed to return those texts or calls. I would not hire this company if you want the work done properly and do not want to get ripped off.

Very kind, professional, and tells you what exactly needs to be done. Responds to your questions promptly and communicates very well. Robbi and his partner were able to stabilize my basement stairs. Plan on using them again without hesitation
