True professional. I was wanting to partially cut a couple of joists to make be basement step height higher. He analyzed my job, took measurements and told me I should be good to do what I wanted to do, but told me he would crunch the numbers to assure that it would work. He got back with me in a timely fashion with a certified document stating that it had been inspected and that I was good to proceed with my project. All done for a very reasonable price...

Very insightful

Tracy showed up on time and performed the inspection. I informed him that we were under contract and that I needed the report by a certain date. He agreed but didn't turn it in on time. I called the day after and he didn't answer or respond to my text or voicemail. Finally two days later he sent the report in an email at which it was too late.

Quick response, meeting, and work completed. A much better experience than other engineers in the area. Highly recommend.

Tracy inspected our 1890's basement foundation for structural issues and was able to help find a good solution to fixing the movement. He clearly explained what was happening, why and how to mediate the issues. He was quick, professional and kept it simple for us. Great help

Tracy was very easy to talk to and professional. We contracted his services to determine if the walls we wanted to remove were load bearing walls. He took our request in stride despite adding on a few other walls we wanted him to look at ontop of the original wall. He had our request finished within a day and gave us the rundown which happily was in our favor. Before that, he mentioned that even if we could not take down the walls we wanted to, he could offer alternatives. Thankfully it never came to that. All of this for a flat, affordable rate. Mr. Mitchell checked the structural integrity of the house (built in 1903) we were considering purchasing. He analyzed how well the recent repairs were done and pointed out the areas where additional repairs were needed or improvements that would be helpful for the house. He explained the kind of work needed in lay person's words. He promised a report in a couple of days and the report was sent to me in less than the time he promised. The report was ready in less than 2 days. He was very efficient and thorough with the evaluation of the house structure. I highly recommend Mr. Mitchell.
