Expanding upon my husbands review below (Peter Kraft) I would also like to add that Anthony is extremely misogynistic and disrespectful towards women. On 3 separate occasions I tried to discuss my concerns with Anthony during the $45,000 drainage and landscaping project at my home and he refused to speak to me. On one occasion I voiced that I was unhappy with the way the large stone bed surrounding my kids swing set looked and his response was "This was the job, sweetie. Take it up with your husband." He never once asked me to discuss how I would like my backyard to look and as Peter noted, he increased the price of the project by 30% while using the most basic material possible. When I confronted him about the fact that the plantings died within days, the seed he planted turned to large mud puddles and the mulch was not the correct color, he promised to make it right. But to no ones surprise we never heard from him again. After 6 weeks of "checking in to see where we are" he finally responded by calling us names and saying that he refused to be bullied by US. Completely outrageous and unprofessional.

I have worked with dozens of contractors both professionally and for my own residence. Anthony is by far the worst of all of them. He is scam artist, and master of BS. If you ask any questions, or show any signs of disapproval for the quality of the materials being uses, he becomes a crybully. The original quote for our huge drainage project was $31,500. This is already a small fortune, but based on "recommendations" part way through the project to do things differently this somehow ballooned to $45,400. For all I know, the "recommendations" were or should have been part of the initial quote. Beyond all this, I was willing to let it go, but the actual landscaping finishings are completely subpar. For a $45k+ project I think any reasonable person would expect near immaculate looking finishings. The wood chips used in lieu of actual, quality mulch make our yard look hideous. And out of the few dozen (very) small junipers that were planted, about 15 died within days of being planted. After a few attempts to rectify these finishing issues with Anthony satisfactorily, Anthony decided to call us names and not honor his work whatsoever. This man has ZERO integrity. If anyone wants to see screen shots of this conversation, or pictures of the shoddy work, I'm happy to share them.

The owner was prompt and on the job throughout.

Anthony was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done to solve the drainage and grading issues in our backyard. He answered all the questions we had and was very patient with us. He was very professional and finished the job in a timely manner considering a setback due to consistent rain. We have not had any water issues since he completed the work and I would recommend him to anyone who has drainage issues. We will probably use him in the future for other work we want to have done at our property.

The project included providing two large drainage sumps in my backyard to alleviate standing water during significant rainstorms, and to plant arborvitae for privacy. Anthony and his helper did a terrific job in one day. I would not hesitate to hire Trapallo Construction again, and I highly recommend them.

Based on the reviews here we hired Trapallo Construction last summer to address some drainage issue we were having in our backyard. This involved creating a French drain and putting in new pipes to drain the water into drains. Nine months after the work was completed, we noticed the same drainage issues have returned to the same area and called Trapallo back to address the issue. We expected them to stand behind their previous work but instead, Anthony claimed this was a new issue for which we would have to pay again. We found this completely unprofessional and unacceptable, and we now have to hire someone else to fix the issue we already paid them several thousand dollars to fix. We would not recommend them.

This is the second job we have hired Trapallo Construction for and again, we were completely satisfied. Anthony came in with a great vision on how to help solve our drainage and patio problem. He provided us with a clear description of the work to be performed and a very competitive estimate. Once we agreed on the project he arrived on time, kept me abreast of the work plans each day and kept a neat work site. The project was completed quickly and was exactly to our liking. I was most impressed with his follow up after he work was completed. Our project involved regrading due to the water level and area flooding . Immediately after the job completion we had significant rain. Instead of just walking away, because the job was done he followed up to see how the job held up with all the water. And he even came back to tweak things to be sure we got the desired results. He is a true professional and generally cares about the project , the customer, and the final job. We highly recommend him!

Anthony is a reliable and experienced contractor. Our job involved drainage, grading, masonry and waterproofing. He kept us informed every step of the way and was always efficient. His price was reasonable and we were extremely pleased with the result. Do not hesitate to hire Anthony.

Really had a good overall experience with Anthony and his team. The project (installation of retaining wall along driveway) was completed exactly as we had expected, on time and on budget. We will definitely be reaching out to Anthony for all exterior projects going forward.

I hired this company to do the complete asphalt paving of my driveway in May of 2016. They don't do the whole work themselves, instead they hire another company to do the final paving part with asphalt. After a year, my driveway looks uneven on a few spots.

We are happy with the new steps and walkway from Trapallo Construction. Their work is top quality. They were detailed and ensured that everything was done well. I would hire them again.

We are extremely pleased with the work of Trapallo on our front steps and porch of our home. They were neat, courteous and finished their work when they said they would. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

We needed our 34 year old patterned concrete refinished and repainted. It was quite a large job including a long walkway, 30' patio and a pool deck. Other contractors really didn't know what to do, and Anthony was the only concrete contractor who knew exactly how to restore it to looking like new again, and agreed to take on this job. He and and his crew were very pleasant and professional. We needed the job completed by a specific date and he made every effort to complete the job, which he did. They always showed up when they said they would and did a great job, cleaned up everything, and helped me with a patio drainage problem we had by installing new drain pipes around the patio and under the yard to the end of our property. They put a really attractive stone border around the patio over the pipes. Anthony even pulled out plants inside a patio bed and replanted new ones. He is a rare contractor and a great person and we would WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANY CONCRETE OR DRAINAGE PROBLEMS WITHOUT RESERVATION!

This was big job: demo & replacement of retaining wall, steps, and landings. Anthony worked with our choices, made great suggestions, and covered every detail without being prompted. Very knowledgeable and responded right away throughout the project, which took three weeks with stops for weather. He was here every day directing his crew, who were polite and hardworking. When we ran into a couple of unexpected obstacles in replacing this 60-year-old structure, he performed the considerable extra work with a reasonable add-on charge. You can hand him your project and walk away confident that it will be done correctly and completely; highly recommended.
