I found David and Trav Construction on Thumbtack, and I’m so glad I did. Finding honest and reliable contractors can be difficult, but David exceeded my expectations from the start.
He sent a team of professional workers who completed the job efficiently and with great attention to detail. The project was expected to take two days, but they actually finished everything in just one day without sacrificing quality.
There was one small detail regarding the wall texture that wasn’t completed exactly as I had envisioned. However, it’s located at the very bottom of the wall and is hardly noticeable, so it did not impact my overall satisfaction with the work.
Communication throughout the project was excellent. David was professional, responsive, and kept me updated every step of the way. His team was knowledgeable, helpful, and clearly experienced in what they do.

Trav did an amazing job on installing my drywall. We got several estimates from other contractors but went with Trav because of their professionalism, and fair price. So glad we did because they did a FABULOUS job. They were on time, professional, thorough, and cleaned up completely after they were done. I can’t recommend them enough.

Popcorn Acoustic Ceiling Texture Application, Repair or Removal
The best home improvement decision we’ve made!If you are looking to get rid of your ugly popcorn ceilings, do yourself a favor and hire Trav construction group. They removed the texture from our ceilings and left them looking brand new, smooth, and modern. The crew arrived exactly on time, worked incredibly fast, and did a phenomenal job cleaning up the drywall dust afterward. Fair pricing, excellent communication, and top-tier craftsmanship. I 10/10 recommend especially because the work they did for the price they charged was actually way under. But, don’t tell them I said that. Lol

The repair started off good, the worker arrive on time and completed two drywall repairs. The worker said it needed to dry and that he buffed the area and made it smooth since I had professional painters coming. I paid the bill, spoke to the manager/owner about the unused sheet rock. 7 days passed and no pick up. The owner/manager said he would come by and say hello, and will pick up. When the painter arrived 8 June, he painted the dining room and went to start on the family room. He called over and pointed out that the area was not smooth or buffed out. Then he showed me another spot that wasn't event touched. Of course I reached back out to let the manager/owner know, he asked for a picture, I sent it over. I heard nothing from him the rest of the day. Mind you this was Tuesday I reached out, I sent the photo Wed at 10am. I didn't hear anything from the owner/manager until I emailed him how disappointed I am. I will never use this company again. He gave excuses .

We needed a room built out in our basement along with repairs to several areas of drywall. From the moment we reached out, the process was seamless ? we received a prompt estimate and were scheduled quickly. The crew was professional, hardworking, and genuinely committed to making sure we were happy with the results. I am glad I found this company to transform our old attic. It was an unusable space with falling-down plaster and crumbling brick. And it was not easily accessible. In order to complete the work Trav Construction pre-cut the sheetrock and carefully carried it up two narrow and winding sets of stairs. I appreciate their care and responsiveness. David and Maurice did their best to satisfy our evolving vision of the space, and Pedro is a knowledgeable and hardworking craftsman who carried out the work with skill and confidence. We had a little glitch about removing construction debris but it was ultimately resolved. I recommend this company with enthusiasm.

Hi. I had you folks out here to drywall the back of my basement and repair the ceiling in my basement in a stained area and also the dining room. The stains are still there in my ceilings. We have tried painting a few coats on and still showing through. I had another contractor come out to see it and they suggested that your guy simply sprayed over it and never removed the actual stain. I paid around 950 for those two small stains to be fixed. I thought that your guy was going to remove the stain and patch? Is there any way that you can get back to me so that they can fix the issue? Thanks,

I am so delighted with my experience with this. Company. They did an excellent job with repairing the walls in my study. Truly, I had become disenchanted trying to find professionals to do quality work on my project. Trav Company is great as they did the complete job in one day. Most other companies said that the work would take two days are longer. I highly ecommend this company because they are professional and they have the sophisticated equipment to get the job done. In additional, their prices are competitive. Most of all, the workman cleaned up after performing the work.

I would highly recommend Construction for the work they preformed repairing my drywall. If there were 10 stars TRAV Construction Group would have gotten them. I have been searching for contractors for quite some time now and finally found one I can trust to get the job done. The quote I received was absolutely the best I received in my journey of searching for contractors. TRAV Construction Group are reliable, punctual, professional and very accommodating. I am not one to rave about David came to our home to access the work I needed done. He was not only knowledgeable, but informative.
