The work was done well, but the individual doing the work caused me to queue up 911 because of his behavior. I could not reach HomeAdvisor (HA) nor the owner who initially came out to see the job. I was told HA vets the owner but not the people he hires. I was told by HA that HA is an advertising firm (!) who collects names and numbers and monitorizes the data they collect. I put a deadline on the painter because I wanted him out of my house as swiftly as possible. He left as directed with a lot of foot stomping as he walked around the house or went stamping his feet up and down the stairs. Then plan was for him to show up with a second worker, but the second worker did not show. I tried to call the owner, but told he was unavailable. HA was closed. The painter thought I would help in place of the second worker. I called HA and put through a script of Q and A that was disappointing. Beware of people hired though HA because only the owner is vetted and not his staff. HAs response was that I should have called the police. I asked HA if they take any responsbility for connecting people through their site with contractors who might be questionable. The HA representative said they are only an advertising firm collecting names and numbers. Homeowners, beware whom you hire through HomeAdvisor.

Exceeded my expectations! Luke did such a great job installing new flooring in my kitchen and dining room. I didn't know my home could look so nice. He was very professional and friendly and really knows a lot about home renovations. I am looking forward to hiring him again.

I normally do not like to write these type of comments, but feel I have no choice. The roof on the sun-room has been completed - in one day, no less. After Luke and his assistant left, I spent most of the day picking up debris and screws from the old roof that was removed. If I had mowed my back yard, the screws could have been dangerous. After the first heavy rain, there were several leaks and I called Luke. He came out the following day to make repairs so that it would not leak again. The next day it rained again and the roof did not leak - I sent him an e-mail stating that. However, depending on how the wind is blowing, I do have large leaks where the roof line meets the wall. I cannot determine if this area was caulked or not as I am not able to get onto the roof. Several of the new screws attaching the roof to the wood beams are protruding above the roof and I can see they are not caulked like they had been done in the past. So far, they are not leaking, but it is only a matter of time before they do so. Unfortunately, I will need to contact someone else with more experience in this type of work to make the repairs. As one on a limited income (retired) I am not happy about this.

Prompt, knows the work. Gets it done. Will rehire in the near future.

Finally a real handyman!! Luke was professional, polite and prompt. He removed an asphalt dam at the end of our drive, which he did within less than an hour and cleaned out our gutters on our back screened in porch. He was so good, we had him solve a small drainage/erosion problem we had. We have plans for other jobs in the very near future as his work is so good and his prices are so reasonable. Thank you, Luke!!

Ontime, had all tools needed for the job. Quick and efficient. Put together a table for me and discarded packing materials.

I have an older house that needed a "face lift" in the kitchen. I hired Luke to install a floating laminate floor for my kitchen and half bath. As it turned out, he also replaced my kitchen counter, sink, tile back splash, put in a new ceiling with recessed LED lights, and painted the room. This was all done in approximately 1 week! I am delighted with the results. The kitchen is much brighter and cheerier. Very nice job! Luke was very prompt, kept in contact on his arrival schedule, worked diligently, and was very accommodating. He offered good advice, and has a "good eye" for design recommendations. He has multiple home improvement talents, and I plan to hire him for updating my main bathroom.

Luke was professional and worked hard installing a new garbage disposal and bathroom sink faucet and catch. Everything turned out great!! I would hire him again for any additional work in my house.

Luke was always in touch, keeping us updated. He came out on a Saturday to give an estimate and completed the job over the course of a week - plaster removal, drywall install, insulated, and painted for us. Well worth the price - especially since most of it was done while we were not home. Would/will hire him again.

Hung bathroom cabinet, 2 towel holders and put silicon or two Granite counters. Reasonable price, excellent work.

Need the door fixed because the wind almost blow it off the frame. I called and he was here in 30min. fixed it in less than an hour. Luke was great I hired him to clean my junk same the same day.

Luke had a good price and did a nice job repairing the holes in the walls, but the ceiling repairs don't match the existing texture. He did do a beautiful job with the painting and was polite and not excessively chatty. He wasn't always on time, and he said the job would take 3-4 days, but it stretched into 2 weeks. Still, I liked him and would call him again.

He called me the same day I called in to find a handyman. He called that same day and came out and did the work that day. He did everything I said. He was very prompt. He was very good.
