About us
Over the years, Trellis Structures has become one of the country's leading direct-to-consumer manufacturers of garden structures, nationally recognized by architects, landscape architects, and designers. Our designs take a fresh look at classical shapes, with influences varying from English garden structures to Asian architecture, and from the Arts and Crafts movement to the modern and neoclassical. n 2022, Kris Schumacher and Erich Schumacher purchased the business from the previous owners, bringing with them a deep appreciation of natural materials and a background in carpentry. Having grown up on a family tree farm and milling lumber for the family business, as well as working in residential carpentry, Kris and Erich were drawn to the quality of Trellis Structures work and continuing the legacy of design excellence.
