We specialize in chimney restoration such as stonework, chimney liners, chimney repairs, chimney raincaps, waterproofing chimneys, flashing repairs, chimney cleanings, chimney sweeping. We have extensive experience (44 years) in handling insurance claims due to flue fires, wind damage, and lightning strikes. Having a great reputation in customer service, we service a six county area in southcentral Pennsylvania. Counties include Cambria, Bedford, Blair, Westmoreland, Indiana, and Somerset. We were established in 1982, and have become one of the most experienced chimney technicians in the region. Tri County Chimney Service currently has over 14,000 very satisfied customers.

"Yes and I as I have said before all customers are required to sign a contract and everything is explained to them in advance, the price and the length of time it takes to do the job. It is at this point she can make a decision to go with another company. Why wait till the job is done and claim it is to expensive when she knew everything in advance.She claims I have 0 hrs travel time because I live in johnstown. Really???? And the reason i said good question on the warranty was because the spouting was clogged because of birds nests. How do I controll that. and I explained that to her also. With the cost of doing business these days I was lucky to make 125.00 on this job. Certainly not worth a review like this. She could have also called me and talked about this instead of making a negative review as I would have responded in a positive way. I have also stated before we have been in business for 35 years and have over 11000 very satisfied customers. My record speaks for itself. Hands down"
"We drove an hour one way and an hour back to complete this job. These gutters were extremely clogged as these folks live in a very wooded area. We spent about an hour with 2 men to complete this job. That equals 2 man hours plus 4 man hours driving time for a total of 6 man hours was invested into this job. This is the first time I heard of the gutters still being clogged. Had he called we would have went back out at no charge. He was charged 389.00 to complete the whole house. This equals about 64.00 dollars an hour and thats before taxes. I encourage everyone to read through all the positive reviews here on Homeadvisor. Ed I would have been more than happy to come back out and correct the problem that was missed at no charge. All you had to do was just call. I want to thank anyone who takes the time to read this review. Thank you Mike"

"With all due respect to this homeowner. A contract was written up and signed by the customer. All customers are informed of prices and time involved in completing the job ahead of time. He agreed and we completed everything that was contracted for. I had travel time to this customers home. It was 45 minutes to and 45 minutes back, the job took almost and hour and 2 men (double man hours) to complete the job. So on my end I had 2 1/2 hrs invested into this job. The job was contracted at $299.00. After everything was done this job worked to about $119.60 per hr. We take great pride in keeping our customers happy. I may have been open to a discount for him, but he did say it was fine and then signed the contract. Sincerely Mike Robson"

"Ron contacted me thru Facebook and informed me that he was dissatisfied with the work we had completed in 2014. This is almost a year and a half after the work was completed. I reached out to Ron immediately and explained to him I was unaware of his complaint and asked him why he had waited so long to file this complaint which he did not answer very clearly. When I inspected the chimney and gave him a price he immediately signed a contract and gave a deposit. At that time I spent about 15 minutes and described the scope of the job and answered any questions he had. We had a 6 week waiting period and never contacted me with any questions concerning the job. I completed the work and he seemed happy, never mentioning any dissatisfaction. On Facebook, I asked Ron to please call me so we could work this out to HIS satisfaction, even after 14 months!! which he never did. Instead he left a bad review here on Home Advisor. I can can assure everyone here I take great pride in my work. I have been in business for 34 years, and have over 10,000k very happy customers. I would do whatever it takes to keep a customer happy. I ask Ron again to please call me so this can be worked out to HIS satisfaction. Very very sincerely Mike"
