We found the Fix-It-Pros on Angi. We needed immediate help as the homeowner fell and broke her hip. Bruce Koltac responded and asked for photos and the scope of work. He arrived ready to work at the scheduled time, with the tools he needed to work with and inspected the scope of work. He explained in detail what he needed to install ADA grab bars, in baths upstairs and downstairs. He removed the tub/shower doors and installed a curved shower rod which made entering the shower easier for the homeowner. I cannot thank them enough for their work ethic. They left the areas clean and ready to use. Responsible, ethical, and their work and communication take them far above the rest. There is more work to be done, and they will be the contractor of choice. The neighbors saw their truck and will be calling Tri Valley Fix-It-Pros Handyman Services to have work done as well.

Incompetent, racist and a thief Bruce and his partner came to my house for some repairs. Both of them spent the first 2 hours doing a Home Depot run (10 min away) which seemed excessive. When I called out this issue, he became racist making comments like ?you people?. On top of it, they got the wrong paints and smoke detectors despite having old samples with them. We had to go exchange ourselves so they don?t waste another 2 hours. When we settled the bill and sent them home, Bruce shook hands with me. Later when we realized my wife had paid for some of the items but the refunds went to Bruce?s card, we politely asked that he pay us back. To my complete surprise, he refused and decided to pocket this! Don?t hire him and save your time & money

I recently had Bruce working in my house, and I couldn't be more satisfied with his service! From the moment he arrived, it was clear that he is highly knowledgeable and experienced. He efficiently fixed several faucets around my bathrooms and changed the shower valve. What impressed me the most was Bruce's commitment to clean work. Bruce seemed unprepared to do 1 of 4 tasks. To clean ceiling fans in 3 rooms with cathedral ceilings he was going to use a Swiffer duster with a long handle! I had to insist that the job required using a ladder, a cleaning spray and cleaning rags to thoroughly remove the dirt and dust. I?d say my overall rating would be satisfactory at best.

"I did have a ladder on hand and completed task as per the customers request. I am un clear how I was un pre pared? I had the swifter to remove the dust before wiping. I am sorry you feel other wise. I matched the 2 new transition strip colors to match the carpet insted of any ugly silver color. I had also changed out the lock on your sliding door for you, and took a mini fridge to the dumps. Seems you were just having a bad day and needed something to complain about ?"

Bruce the owner takes pride in high quality work and does it well. Also very fast turn around. We had multiple projects including hot tub removal, deck and fence work, replacing an entire gate entrance, chimney casing exterior work, and various other projects. Not only did he and his team do a great job, but with care, accuracy and fast. A++

Bruce was amazing. My water heater broke and needed it replaced quickly. I contacted Bruce and same day he assisted me with purchasing the right heater and installed it same day.
