They do not respond to calls after first visit when they collect money for the visit. They do not fix the problem. They do not respond to phone calls. They do not show up as scheduled, thus stranding you. They can not diagnose the problem. I think they are just running a superficial service company to collect the fee for the first visit and discourage further contact.

technician showed up days later, unfriendly, and took away switch from hood fan, promising to research price and availability. week later with no reply, I called owner, and he apologized profusely for not following thru. I basically asked him to return/mail back part, and to terminate any further efforts on their part (they did NOT do anything). "sure, sure, no problem..., will put it in the mail TODAY" as per the owner.... well, it's been a month, and am still waiting for the switch in the mail. I am sure the guy did not even follow thru with mailing it back -- must still be sitting in technician's van...

He had to order the right part for the gas dryer. Had to convert from natural to propane. That was on 4-25-07. No word yet on the status of the part.

Although my refrigerator was beyond repair, Milton and Tri Valley went above and beyond to make sure I was able to secure an affordable replacement. I give them my highest recommendation. They spent extra time they didn't need to, and their expertise and advice was priceless. Can't say enough good things about them.

Service on the original microwave problem was excellent. A second call about an electrical problem (not related to microwave) got a promise of an electrician but none appeared.

Repair man Did not come back to complete repairs. The repair man was never on time. Left without notifing anyone he was leaving without completing repairs. My cooktop is still not working, and no one has called me to come back to complete the repairs.

I had a wonderful experience, to my surprise At first, I was upset when I saw you referred me to a business in Pleasanton, but it was explained that they have four locations, one of which was near my home. I suggest you change their profile, so it reads that the corporate office located in Pleasanton, but four local satellite locations. Milton was fantastic, helpful, educational, and will probably use him again for other services.

Fast and efficient repair. We got a call just a few minutes after submitting the request, and scheduled the repair the same day. The serviceperson showed up on time, did what was necessary and didn't leave a mess. He also answered questions politely.

This is one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered with a home service contractor. I called Tri-Valley to fix an icemaker in my freezer; they quickly replaced it with a new one, but it never worked. Milton guaranteed me that they'd fix it or refund the money. I've made many dozens of phone calls over several weeks, and Milton has had an excuse each time. After catching him in more than one lie, I found that he couldn't be trusted. When Milton finally dropped off a refund check, it bounced for insufficient funds. I still have an icemaker that doesn't work, and he owes me $242. I would not hire Tri Valley for any project.

Milton was here early (great): however, 2 days after he supposedly repaired the refrig problem, all of our perishables in the freezer thawed and the original problem still persists. We paid $260.00 for the original repair. They came again on Monday, (3 hrs. late) and said they needed to order a part and we would hear from them in the next day or two. Today is the second day.

Said they will be at my house at 5 P.M..Come 8 P.M Had to call them to because he didn,t show up.Made new appointmen the next day..This time he got there on time..Had to give the guy my power drill to use.The one he had the battery died..Took double the time to do the work..

First: The individuals fixing the appliance were nice and knowledgable. But I will never hire them again and can not recommend them. The guy on the phone scheduling the appointments obviously lied to me about where the technicians were and was screening my calls (after they were 4 hours late I called from my home and home office numbers, no answer, when I used our Nanny's phone with different area code he immediately answered). They missed the first two appointments and were for the third try 90 minutes late (after the slot).
