I made a huge mistake when I chose Triad Mechanical to diagnose and repair my furnace. Paul, their lead technician, came to my house on Tuesday afternoon and after a quick look he told me the gas valve was not installed properly. I agreed to a diagnostic fee of $39.00 plus $385.00 to re-install the gas vale - total $424.00, they said the work is guaranteed for 30 days. The furnace stopped working early Saturday morning, that's 3 & haft days after the repair. I called their office, of course no one picked up; they returned my call on Monday and rescheduled for Paul to come out and check the system on Tuesday. Paul came out, same at before, took a quick look and told me this time that the pressure switch stopped working. I asked how come this issue was not discovered at the first visit, he said the system is old and that it wasn't the issue then and that he'd charge me $265.00 to fix this new issue. I pretty much lost all confidence in his work integrity and said no to the repair. I did ask Paul to give me quote on a new unit at his second visit, he gave me two quotes - one on a Goodman - 45000 BTU at $2996 and the other on a budgeted carrier model at $3,967. I asked him what BTU is my current unit, he said 50000 BTU, turns out my current unit is actually 70000 BTU not 50000 BTU. I contacted their Service Manager, Brian and went over the whole situation and asked for a refund of the $424.00 that I had paid - I wasn't comfortable in moving forward with either a repair or replacement by Triad, I believed Paul did not put much effort to thoroughly inspect my furnace so that I'd have a full picture of all the issues. Brian argued that Paul fixed the issue and the furnace was working at the time. I said I paid $424 to Triad only to have my furnace working for 3 & half day is unacceptable and for them to want to charge me another $265.00 to fix another issue that should have been discovered and proposed repair at the initial visit? I relied on a mechanical expert to give me honest findings and this what I get. I called another HVAC Contractor, they came out that same Tuesday to look at my furnace, they told me there's nothing wrong with the pressure switch, it's the power connection that just needs resetting. I contacted Brian at Triad and told him of the new findings from the new contractor and asked Brian to authorize my refund, he said he will ask upper management and get back to me. I followed up, he stopped responding altogether. I called the office and was told someone in their Accounting department will call me to follow up. Finally, Ashley from Accounting called and said they will not refund me and that they will credit the amount towards a new furnace unit, I asked Ashley to speak with upper management, she said she'll ask someone from upper management to give me a call. No phone calls from anyone since. Keep your hard earned dollars and take your business elsewhere, Triad Mechanical does not operate on the foundation of integrity nor customers' best interests; they'll find ways to charge you as much as they possibly can. And if you're a woman and a minority, they'll think you don't know what you're doing and will take advantage of you. It's not worth losing your hard earned money to unethical people and their company.

Our AC went out in the middle of summer and I called to schedule an appointment and they made it out the same day! They were very professional and completed the necessary maintenance extremely quickly. We had air again by the end of the day. Itâ s also one of the most affordable places weâ ve ever used for our heating and air maintenance and repairs.

I hired them when my ac stopped cooling. They got a tech to my house quickly and he diagnosed the problem and was able to repair it quickly. Their price was more then fair and I would definitely recommend them for any Hvac needs.
