Nick abd crew were amazing !! Prompt and got the necessary work done in a very short time as my house had just been sold

I bought my first house last year, and my real estate agent recommended I work with Nick. He is a very patient man who listened to all my questions and answered them thoroughly. Nick made time for me and ensured we addressed all my concerns throughout the process. Together, we tackled a comprehensive list of repairs and upgrades based on the inspection report. Nick and his team handled the roof, windows, and wood damage, and encapsulated the crawl space. We installed new vanities in the bathrooms, granite countertops in the kitchen and vanities, painted and sanded the kitchen cabinets, and put new knobs on all the doors. Additionally, we replaced all the electrical outlets, lighting, and doors, essentially giving the house a complete facelift. The only things we didn't update were the paint and floors. While working with Nick was very good overall, we did encounter some issues. There were instances of scope creep, which extended the timeline, and some communication breakdowns led to mistakes. Naturally, I was frustrated at times, but Nick handled these issues professionally. He fixed the problems and worked with me to ensure my satisfaction, which earned my great respect. A year after the project, I had an issue with termite inspections in the crawl space. Despite the time that had passed, Nick addressed and fixed the problem at no charge because he had done the original work. This demonstrated his commitment to his clients and his integrity. If you're considering working with Nick, I highly recommend him. He is fair, honest, and dedicated to making things right, even if mistakes occur. Many contractors promise they'll get it right the first time, but when things don't go according to plan, they struggle to handle it. Nick is different; he grows, learns, and listens. You're in good hands with him.

Nick was great to work with, honest throughout the entire process, and gave great information for things we were unsure of. He exceeded our expectations for what we expected. Highly recommend to anyone looked for major renovations or rental property updates.

We had a wonderful experience with Nick and his crew. We had a hot water tank floor and he got everything out back together quickly and efficiently. The project was fairly priced and they did excellent work. Nick was a pleasure to work with as well. We will definitely use them again and I recommend them to anyone!

We hired Nick as a general contractor for our new home remodel and were very disappointed. We chose to work with a general contractor because we wanted a good coordinator, communicator, and someone with expertise to check the work completed. Nick did not provide any of these benefits. He was incredibly difficult to contact throughout the process and there were several breakdowns in communication. Most of the workers he sent to our home were unable to communicate on his behalf during times he was MIA. When we tried to call him we would receive an email response the next day (often not even responding to direct questions). Weeks after all work was supposed to have been completed, he decided to swing by to pick up his check. We insisted on a walkthrough of the work Nick had not yet even seen only to find that more than 50% of the items had not been fully completed. Although there were no apologies to us, he did send someone back to complete the work and that is the only reason he received 2 stars rather than 1. Working with Nick was a very stressful experience and we do not recommend hiring him or his company for your remodel.

Easy to do business with, priced right, honest, knowledgeable, work was done beautifully. VERY SATISFIED. Wish I found Raleigh Remodeling years ago. I would have saved myself a lot of time, aggravation and sleepless nights not to mention money. Do yourself a big favor. Nick and Raleigh Remodeling is my "go to guy" for all my future needs.
