"Here is a copy of our email response to this non Home Advisors customer; Dear Mr. Rubogianea, I just wanted to say how sorry I am that we did not complete the yard work to your satisfaction. I have to say however that I am completely surprised and a little confused by this, and your review of our business on Home Advisors. When my wife and business partner first went to your home she met with your wife Tammy. You were not present. When we went to your home to complete the service we were greeted by Tammy as well. You were not there. At no time have we ever met you in person. We have only had a couple of brief telephone conversations with you. Most of the communication and direction came from Tammy. When we discussed the bid with her she was the one who advised us to dump the potted soil behind the wall. We would not have done that unless she suggested it. Also, the bid was for $300 for a service. It isn?t an hourly rate. It is up to Triple G to determine if they want to hire more people to get the job done in 30 minutes, or have one person take 3 hours to complete. You are paying to have the job done. How long it takes is up to the company you hire. Surely you can understand this. So to say that we did the minimum is just untrue. We did the job as outlined by Tammy. We cleaned three tree wells. That is what was discussed with Tammy. I personally spent 45 minutes on my hands and knees removing debris from the fruit tree wells. We leveled off some decorative rock in the backyard and redistributed it in other areas to remove what appeared to be a mound or a hill left over by the company that installed the fake grass. That was completed as well. We removed all the river rock around a lemon tree in a pot and placed the rock in the front swell. We strategically placed them in areas of the swell that needed it and placed the rest around the swell. Our personal note on this is that there was too much rock than what was required, but we placed it there per her direction anyway. There was no discussion or direction from you or her as to how to place the rock. If your expectation was to have to rock buried on the swell, then that would have been reflected in our estimate ( higher price). There was no rock added to any tree wells. None. All the river rock was moved to the front yard. Now when the job was complete Tammy was very happy with the work. She said it looked great. She at no time ever indicated that she was unhappy with the work. She had every opportunity to do so as well. She did not have to pay us until she was satisfied with the work. She paid us with no hesitation and was happy with the service. So you can understand why I am surprised with your comments. I am sorry that you feel that we did not complete the job as required but the facts outlined above show that not only did we complete it as discussed, Tammy was satisfied and paid in full with no questions. There are plenty of landscaping companies out there. Plenty. I suggest that you find one that you like and Strongly, strongly, strongly suggest that you be more involved with the discussion and negotiating and actually be on site to provide additional direction per your requirements.
