We hired Tri-State Solar to install a solar system on our roof in early 2021. The installation went well, but not long after it was finished the company was sold to another party, and that is when our troubles began. After several months of hassle-free service, inspectors came to the house unannounced, and the installation did not pass inspection. That was in early October, and we have been unable to determine whether we are getting the solar service we paid for ever since. Five phone calls to the office have produced little more than a promise from the same young man that someone would call us back, make an appointment and resolve the issue. We are very unhappy, and I assume the new owners care little about those installations that were installed before they purchased the company. Beware.

This company did a great job installing my solar system. Install crew was professional and the design team was sure i approved the placement of the panels on m y roof. I got installed in May 2019, almost had the system for a full year. Just got my tax credits back and paid off half the system. Utility bill went to $15, when i used to pay $300/month. Over satisfied with Tri-State Solar.

Scam artists.Matthew will lie and promise everything until you sing but then after he is GONE. I am in debt thousands of dollars to the bank that he made deal with and told me wrong amount of$$ that the state will give me back. Run from this guy BIG LIER

Did my research for several months before getting solar panels installed on my home. Was going to use Trinity Solar for my solar panels, but ended up using Tri State solar. That I found on HA which had good reviews and spoke to the owner Matt who seems to be an honest person. Everything sounded good and was in writing on the contract. The customer service was great. I will call with any questions and he would reply back asap. Tri State Solar handled everything well with the permits and paper work with local electric company and the city. They follow up with the clients to make sure everything is well. The material the company used are great. Tri State Solar also helped with credit. Tri State also gives you a credit if you recommend a friend or anyone for installation. So far the company had been great and customer service is good. Will recommend this company.

They were friendly, not pushy. I felt comfortable with them and got a great job.
