Drain Line Breakage - Camera Locate
Outstanding service -- saved our home!
Tritan Plumbing did an amazing job. Sarah in the office took my call, was extremely helpful, and quickly dispatched Mickey, a very knowledgeable and professional plumber who arrived within an hour. We had a broken sewer line and thought we might have to leave our home (there are seven of us), but Mickey and his crew got our sewer service back up and running so we could stay. They did excellent work -- I highly recommend Tritan Plumbing to anyone in the Plainfield area.

Sump Pump - Repair or Replace
This is exactly what you expect from a great quality company! My basement had flooded and I called almost 10 plumbing companies and Tritan Plumbing was the only company that actually answered the phone a few others had to call centers but they were no help especially in a crisis like this where my basement was taking on a lot of waster over afoot, I was able to talk to Sarah and she was amazing, just talking to her made me feel calmer! Sarah Very knowledgable and professional, she was able to get a plumber Mickey out to my house in less than an hour on a Friday night at 8 pm! Mickey came in and looked at my basement and before he even introduced himself he ran to the van and started to get pumps set up to get the water out right away. I was amazed at how much he cared about my basement and with no questions started to pump. it out! Once he had all that set up then he went over some options and he was not pushy he recommended a pump set up so I would never have to worry about this again, and the rice was very good. He stayed late into the night and not only installed a sump pump and a backup system all in the same visit at 8-9 pm on a Friday he was able to install a new Ejector Pump because that was out also. Mickey did not only do good work fast but helped clean up and then recommended a cleaning service Chicago Fire and Water, they were even able to come out same night within 60-90 mins! Highly recommended and I'll always be a Tritan customer for life!!

Jason did a fantastic job with installing my water heater. He took the time to troubleshoot my old one to make sure it was bad before installing the new one. Jason was prompt and I had same day service! No complaints. Will be calling them again for my plumbing needs.

Outstanding service! Our service technician Ryan from Tritan Plumbing showed up promptly, quickly assessed our issues and gave us a fair estimate for the repairs. I can say with all honesty that I understand the process of what Ryan has done for us from my own construction background in Quality Control... Done right and done to code. Sewer Main Clearing
Provided toilet removal and a sewer rot. They said there was a broken sewer but other companies said there is none. Communication has been non-existent. They kept trying to up sell me for things I didn't need. The quotes I received from other companies were well below what Tritan Plumbing had. They are reluctant to provide documentation as well.

"I'm sorry for your inconvenience, but this is what happen or no other way to fix a broken sewer line. I was personally there Monday and the camera doesn't lie thought you knew this especially being a real-estate agent. Jon, our licensed plumber was there on Saturday night because you had an emergency sewage backing up in your house, so we offered you a few options and we ended up hydro jetting for hours to try to open the sewer line, and when he ran a camera in front of you and even sent you a recorded video of the sewer video it was clearly a sewer line than was broken at the foundation wall. Then Jon offered you our services to make this repair and unfortunately it was digging it up and making a repair. He gave you a price upfront and even collected a 50% deposit along with a Signed Contract from you to come back the following Monday Contract was automatically sent threw our iPad software and was sent to the email you provided us. We did all our due diligence to prepare to dig up the broken line and make the repair and install a clean out within 5 foot from your home. We called Julie to make out the right side of your home. Julie marked out all utilities Gas, Cable, Electric, and any other lines that may be in our way when excavating. So Monday around 8am when we showed up with all of equipment and excavator, Trailer Hydro Jetter, Camera, etc. We were getting the job prepped and then we even ran the camera again because you asked for a video, so you could have for your phone for records because you just bought the home within in the last month and your boss wanted to see the video because you stated he was the one that told you to purchase the home on Monday when we were there to complete the job that we were contracted. On Saturday, reason being is because we would have to upload it to our computer from the USB and always send a copy via email upon completion. Then you stated that you wanted to send it to your boss because you you said that you were new and then when we were about to start to dig out of the blue around 1pm you asked if we could start the next day if not you asked if we could schedule an appointment to come back and finish the job on Wednesday. We were there and had every intentions of make the sewer line repair and didn't want to leave the job site not complete, I have to say, this is the 1st time I have ever left a sewer emergency call without completing the job. Even if we had to stay until 2-3am or even later, that's how long it would have taken. There are some jobs that you run into that takes longer than expected. When we ran the camera again for you and located the broken line for you, I did it myself and with over 30 years experience, I have never been wrong about a broken sewer line. After I clean the sewer line and camera it with a color self leveling camera head. When you see dirt and stone in the sewer line and can't hydro jet any farther than the section we located right at the foundation wall on the outside of you"

Water Main - Install, Replace or Repair
It was unbelievable. I was first told I needed a trench dug about 20 ft. ans a line run to existing drains.Estimate $750 I said OK and the plumber said he had to go buy some supplies. When he returned he said I would need a trench dug to my sewer line about 40 ft. Estimate $3200. I refused and said I will pay you the cost to come out and I was getting another opinion. He called the office and said they could probably fix it by blowing out the line.I think he quoted about $1200. He had to call the office and have special equipment brought out. Upon arrival it was found the camera was too big to fit in my pipe line. I told the 2nd plumber it looks to me like we only have to connect the PVC that detached from the line in the ground. He agreed and reconnected the detached PVC and charged me $180. Also the man in the office was telling me I would probably need a new sump pump which I didn't. This took up my entire day for a 15 minute job. I probably shouldn't have even paid the $180. Probably the worst experience I have ever had with any home service.

Drain Clog or Blockage Clearing
First I will say right off the bat that this "project" went very well from the start. Tritan Plumbing is my go to plumbing company I have used them multiple times to repair my plumbing and have always been super happy. Once I purchased the deal, Tritan e-mailed me right to set up the appointment at a time that fit my schedule, not theirs. When the plumber, Mickey, arrived, he was on time and very professional. The only glitch had nothing to do with Tritan, but with the way Angie's list described the deal. Although the description did mention that any additional pipe that was needed would require an extra charge, I did not realize that Mickey would have to cut into the dry wall in my garage to get at the pipe. I also realize that there would be additional charges and for an extra $200 for all the extra work that was done I was surprised, because most other plumbing companies would of charged was more. I was happy with the $375 total to have a new hose bib installed and the extra work! I will say to Mickey's credit, that since he felt a little awkward about the extra charge, that he did as much as he could to make the whole in the wall as small as he could and answered several questions that I had concerning plumbing related issues throughout my home. He gave me as much time as I needed and was very patient answering all of my questions. He even called me back latter that day with an answer to a question I had that morning. I guess the best review I can give Mickey and Tritan is that I liked their service so much that they are coming back to my home next week to provide additional work. I will be an expensive job, but I would not trust it to anyone else.
