Hired Tron R&R through Installation Made Easy, which is the company Floor & Decor uses for installation projects. The project was to install 2500 Square Feet of LVP flooring. The day before installation was to begin, he called and delayed the project by several days. When he showed up to begin work, he showed up with two laborers, put them to work on the demo of existing flooring, and left to go pick up supplies. He was gone for most of that day. Two days into the install, he called and said he had injured himself and left his two laborers alone with me to supervise. This went on for about 5 days. That's when I noticed, large amounts of wasted time, long breaks, and a lot of wasted material. When the laborers went to uninstall the toilets, they didn't know how to turn off the water at each toilet. Tron remodeling is not a professional company, period. Ryan, the owner of Tron remodeling, told us 4-5 days to complete. Tron workers started the job with no supervision of the workers work, and I had to ask him to come inside at the end of day 2 of laying new tile and showed him how crooked the new tile that was being put down was. He agreed it needed to be fixed and redone. He never came to observe what his workers were doing over the 2 days they laid tile and I had to point out how bad it looked when you opened the laundry room door and looked down the hall into the living room. He now is trying to stiff us for money for work that was not only started poorly but never finished the job his quote said he would do. We even talked about the cost, if any, we might owe him the day I fired his company when we talked on my sidewalk. I and Ryan figured out that because we needed to buy the materials that he had already used along with removal cost that we owed him nothing. After we fired Tron remodeling we had a new company come in two days after to rip up what Tron remodeling had done and start from scratch. The new company did an excellent job in 3 days and did it to any homeowner satisfaction that just spent $6000 on new flooring covering 1000 sq ft. Do not hire a Tron Remodeling company and never pay someone half of what they quote you in advance. They do not deserve the half star rating. And it is the only review they have.
