Tropic Pools enlarged my pool deck area by 400sf. They removed grass, dirt and flagstone areas before adding the concrete. They also cleaned my existing pool deck area and matched the new concrete with spray deck and painted everything to match. Paul came out promptly to discuss my needs and provided a reasonable quote. He kept me informed of the process and when his guys would be here and came by to check their work every day. The guys did a great job of keeping everything neat and cleaned up. Paul also assisted me with fixing some drainage issues. I’ll be calling him again for a patio cover for an outdoor kitchen and when my pool needs resurfacing.

Paul, the owner was very hands-on in supervising his crew and fielding customer questions and concerns throughout the project. Work was efficient and timely. His guidance was without peer. Costs were within budget and customer never felt pressure towards upcharges. Would highly recommend.

Paul went above and beyond to make sure that deadlines were hit. He was very good at communicating every step of the way during our pool remodel. The outcome is amazing and exactly what we were hoping for. We are looking forward to swimming again this spring.

Paul's proposal was the best solution that we received for our old pool problems, especially because of his engineering background and pool design experience. Our pool remodel project was so well done, was completed on time and on budget, with a new deck, new drainage, new skimmers, new coping, tile and plaster and some new equipment. Thankfully, all of the old issues were solved, including a cracked and settling deck and pool leaks and we now enjoy a thoroughly updated pool.

Having an older pool I was needing a remodel, but wanted to stay within a certain budget. Paul was the only one out of 5 other quotes that listened to what I wanted and needed. As the remodel went along problems associated with an older pool came up; which he had told me was possible ( cracks in the pool which had started under the flagstone). He had someone there to fix it within a day and kept the cost down. He was there every day to make sure the project stayed on schedule; and to keep me updated. I would highly recommend Tropic Pools

Had a great experience with Paul Comeaux managing our pool remodeling project (new plaster, tiles, coping, water feature, spray deck and lights). Paul is easy to reach and responsive, came back with a detailed quote on short notice and started working as planned. He met us at the tile store to pick tiles and coping that matches our pool, yard and house. Some details in the tiling I was unhappy with he quickly dealt with and corrected. I liked that I could rely on his advise and completely let him manage the process, while he did keep me informed on the progress and next steps. Also, he helped me out on a weekend when the pool filter stopped working, and guided me through a fix of the old control panel. Had nothing to do with his work, but he still bailed me out which was very nice.

I contacted HA about contractors to do a pool remodel, they referred 4 companies and Tropic (Paul Comeaux) was the only one to respond. Lucky for us. Paul worked to stay within our budget, offering several options until we settled on our ultimate project. Even though our budget was far smaller than our original design Paul worked as though we were his largest customer. We saw or heard from him every day and he never promised something he didnâ t provide, even advising us on products he didnâ t install. Paul gave us a time frame for completing the job and he met it. His subcontractors were a reflection of his ethics, neat and efficient. We would gladly recommend Tropics Pools to anyone considering any kind of pool projects, large or small. He is worth every penny we took out of our 401 and worthy of our trust.

The owner is personable and responds quickly to texts/emails. I had the pool retiled and resurfaced. His teams were efficient. Tile removal, plaster prep and tile placement took a day. 36 hours later the plaster team arrived and 6 hours later, all was done. Both crews cleaned up well after their work.

Responded quickly to the request for an estimate. Got the job done right away. Really great to work with throughout the project. Very helpful in the selection of new tile and surfacing. Also resurfaced the outdoor kitchen. Finished pool and kitchen look fabulous.
