Rick is very personable. He worked very hard, He also communicated very well, even sending text pics of the job since we live farther away. The house is 100+ years old and has problems that required a lot of prep time. Even though it took more time than he estimated, he stuck with his cost estimate. He completed the job in a timely manner. I would recommend Tru Blue Painting to anyone.

Lack of professionalism and quality of work - had to conduct a lot of chasing to get the contract, update the contract, get the job scheduled/rescheduled/or show up. Problems with the job - the owner stated would be back to fix issues, never showed or contacted us. Paint job was sticky on applied surface, bubbled up in certain areas (we peeled off inches of paint), paint chips all over, and didn't match paint provided. Owner blamed paint used (though he recommended it), blamed the weather (though the area was dry and was only light sprinkles the day before), or us the customer or stated was not in contract (contract didn't say would clean up after work). Due to these issues, we refused any further attempts of "work" by the business owner and attempted to work out a resolution with business owner. However, in the end came to no good conclusion.

Good job at reasonable price

Pleased with the results. I picked a difficult color but rather than tell me it couldn't be done, they worked with their paint vendor to get me exactly what I wanted. Very fast. Work looks great. I only gave three stars because I had to call back to get the rest of the paint that was left back. Not enough left to touch up what needed touch up, but that's okay...wasn't anything big. Just would have liked to have had it since I have kids and dogs. Would hire again!!!

Nice job with the paint job! No drips or stains and furniture was moved. However the second coat of paint included in the original quote was not applied.

Rick from Tru Blue Painting is very time conscious and fast with his work. He did not refuse to redo or touch up anything. He was very careful with my furniture and did not damage anything. He finished the project on time and cleaned up after himself. I was very happy with him...

I am very pleased with Rick and his service. He came out and cleaned the gutters and also painted the small amount of exterior trim that we have. I really appreciated his honesty in telling us that the gutters weren't that dirty and he didn't charge us the full amount. I would use Rick again.
