Mike does very high quality work. We are extremely pleased with the new deck he constructed. Prior to finding Mike I went to 3 other contractors. The first gave me a contract and then never returned my calls. The second would not write up a complete contract and the third never returned calls. I am glad they didn't call back because I got Mike to do the work and again it is outstanding. Mike is also an active coach in our community. As his feed back shows here, you will not regret getting him to do your work.

His quote was competitve & Michael provided great design options. What set him apart from the competition was the pictures of what the deck would look like against our house so we could visualize the finished product. His crew was friendly, cleaned up after themselves, & worked quickly despite the rain in the Fall. We would definitely recommend Michael to neighbors & friends and would consider him for future projects! The deck looks AWESOME!

I normally do not provide reviews for anything; however, Michael and his crew was such a pleasure to work with that I feel that I must. Even though the project (a new deck) was plagued by rain, delaying the project some, it was completed in timely manner. His crew was respectful and courteous and on several occasions had me rolling on the ground laughing. The site was kept clean and organized. Michael�s concern for ensuring that the deck was safe and met or exceeded code requirements was refreshing. The final product is outstanding and I wouldn�t change a thing. The entire crew�s professionalism and quality of the work is TOP NOTCH! Would I recommend Michael and his crew? I would DEFINITELY recommend Tru-Built and Michael to anyone.

Michael was professional and responded quickly to all of our questions. There was no hassle whatsoever, his team showed up and did the job and were very courteous.

Michael was very responsive to all communication leading up to, during, and after the work. He was able to start the work 6 days after giving us the quote, that was over $1500 lower than the next lowest. The quailty and speed of the work was great. We will certainly be keeping his number handy for any other projects that are too big for DIY.

The porch addition looks like it was always there--apart of the original design. The finished product was beyond my expectations. The attention to detail and craftsmanship was unbelievable.

I am extremely happy with my composite deck. It is beautiful. I would use them again. They were always on time and it only took a week + 1 day to complete; extra day was needed due to rain. My only complaints were that they should communicate more (pre-construction); I had to call them to check on the status of my permits, and the deposit was half of the total cost. Other than that, I would recommend them to my friends.

Mike Thornton of Tru-Built was the most forthcoming of all the contractors who gave me quotes to build my deck. He apologized when his final quote was a four hundred dollars higher than he told me verbally due to higher lumber prices. Once he obtained the permit his crew were fast and his work was top-notch. We are very pleased with the final project.

The only issues that arose were things out of his control, the weather and a materials order that wasn't filled correctly, which delayed the finish of the project.
