For many years, TruGreen has been the industry leader in the development of new technology for lawn care. Its two in-house research and development centers are staffed with leaders in the agronomic and horticultural fields. TruGreen devotes substantial resources to continually evaluate new products and equipment and to develop better methods for taking care of grass, trees, and shrubs. Plus, our seasonal programs will ensure a greener, thicker, and more weed-free lawn for years to come. Additionally, TruGreen has taken an active leadership role in both developing and supporting sound environmental practices and regulatory policies. TruGreen is committed to environmentally responsible practices and products and has established its own set of environmental stewardship principles. Each TruGreen branch is insured and maintains the necessary licenses to conduct business in its city or county. In addition, all of the company's lawn specialists are tenured full-time employees who must complete a rigorous training program before they can be certified by TruGreen. Each specialist is trained to recognize and treat a variety of disease, insect, and weed problems and recommend appropriate maintenance practices for the customer's lawn.

Lawn Care Aeration
It's too early AND UNFAIR to rate them. I just agreed and seal a contract with them. Service has not even start yet!!! SO far they seem very professional and prompt during the proposal process.

Rapid response with knowledgeable experts. Slight delay in actual spraying (6 days) from contract date, but overall very happy with service and service plan.

Lawn Care Fertilize or Treatment Service
Although prompt and professional, no improvement in lawn was noticed, and lawn actually appears worse.

I was not very happy with their service. They did a reasonable job of fertilizing, but I asked them to overseed and remove brown spots (the lawn is new), and they did a very poor job of those things. I have used them before at my other house and things worked out O.K., but the lawn was already established. I need a company that can get a new lawn established properly and in a timely manner. Of course, cost is a concern too. My yard is virtually all clay, and though I have not checked the pH, I'm almost certain it is too acid and needs lime treatments. It also probably needs coring and possibly some top soid or straw on the bare areas. The overseeding should probably be with a thin-bladed tall fescue. I do not like KY 31 -- it wears well but is too coarse and doesn't look good. Part of the yard is shaded, and in those area creeping red fescue does well. I know KY blue grass doesn't do all that well around here, but if some of it can be established I would like that. I do not use any of the southern grasses like Burmuda grass since it is brown much of the time. Since the lawn on the sides is sloped I have some erosion in those places that needs to be fixed. Most of the time I prefer slow-releasing fertilizer (granules) though I realize that at certain times of the year that type of fertilizer may not be the best. My yard needs quite a bit of work, as you can see from what I've said, but my budget dictates that I not spend too much many on it.

They only just started, but they were honest enough to let me know some of the work has to wait until autumn.

I hired them as well to do spraying, however I am a bit upset with them. I requested treatment not start until July and a truck showed up yesterday when I was out and sprayed. They were almost completed when I came home. The driver knew nothing about the schedule that their represntative said would be adhered to.
