My challenge: GE Washing machine non-functional following proximity lightning strike. Start returned "two beeps". GE does not have a customer-friendly "beep code" reference. The company had numerous communication issues. Although the technician seemed competent, his forte was "low hanging fruit". My challenge took time but was taken to the excess. High-hanging fruit. Started on June 19 my washer wasn't usable until Jul 10. During this time I did contact another company but cancelled when TRUPRO "came through" with the part. And a question of billing. I have residual water leak issues which I have contacted TRUPRO but no response.

We found Tru Pro on Angi last week when we needed a dryer repair. The technician opened the top of the dryer and noticed a frayed belt. He required prepayment of $419 for parts and labor and returned with parts a few days later. After his repair the dryer only worked for about 20 mins. He came back the next day and discovered that the pulley was broken off the motor, which he would have seen If he had looked to find the cause of the frayed belt. He quoted another parts and labor fee which included replacing the entire motor and would not refund anything from what we had already paid. We were not confident in his level of expertise and since he runs his own company, there was no one else to help to resolve the issue. With the help of a Whirlpool video, my husband was able to do the repair with a replacement pulley that cost $11, the entire motor did not need to be replaced.

Technician was unfamiliar with my appliance, missed the diagnosed with the repair. Refused to refund labor performed.

TruPro was very professional and thorough. My dishwasher is like new again!
