Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
John Turner came over to look at the items we needed help with. He assured us they could be done and they wouldn't take long to complete. In addition, we needed a quick turn around and John assured us our jobs could be done the next week. I am happy to say John lived up to his word. His partner, Shane, did the work along with an assistant named Tim. They were timely and pleasant. We will definitely use their services again!

Shayne from Turner Properties did an excellent job. He listened carefully to what we wanted him to do (which was to build a banister around a loft stairwell), We had very specific requirements for how we wanted it to look and were particularly concerned about the finish being of a very high quality. He talked to us throughout the process, being respectful of our concerns, and made sure that the final work reached our expectations. The price seemed appropriate for the work done. He was pleasant and respectful when he was in our home and tidied up well after the job. All in all, I would highly recommend him .

They were quick to schedule me to come and do my drywall repair. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, is that Shane had to come to my home and spend a lot more time on the repair since his sub-contractor didn't complete his part of the job. Shane was very accomodating in getting the work done satisfactorily. I would recommend them.

Shayne spent a long time fixing slidng glass door lock. It took a long time because it was old hardware on originally door lock. He had to make a lot of adjustments to get it to work. He did great work!

"This project started out as a water damage repair and we discovered that carpenter ants had infested and destroyed wall studs and rafters. The repair ended up being larger than originally expected but was completed on time as the home owner was prompt with information and approval for the needed work. They were also prompt with payment."

Doors - Repair
Both women were couteous and they did a good job once they had all the material for the job. One of the workers was sent to Home Depot to pick up some material and was gone for an hour. The other worker sanded the edges of my deck while she waited. It was a bit stressful to me as the time was running and I was paying by the hour. It ended up taking more that two hours but I was charged only for the two hour minimum. Great people but poor planning for the needed material for the job. I would use the service again.

"One of the employees on this job was in training. Normally we charge per man hour, but this time we only charged our standard minimum. We spent four man hours cutting doors and sanding the deck, not including the time spent getting materials for the project, the customer received the trainees time for free as well as the time spent getting materials. The 3 extra man hours were not charged."

Wood Fence - Repair
I had a fence post replaced in my backyard. They were on time, friendly & showed me what they thought needed to be done. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time as well.

"Managed drywall repairs with texturing. Customer has an on going issue with settling of the house causing bowing in the drywall. Advised customer against repairs to the settlement issues at this time as they would be extensive and temporary as settlement is still occurring."

Tammy came out and did exactly what we needed on the cabinet doors, and was honest about the limitations of what could be done. She even went an extra mile to try and find better screws for the hinges. I was never happy with the service. I would recommend in the future that you mention, to businesses at least, that you prefer payment upon completion of the work. It is not always easy to get that accomplished in a business setting, so a little advanced warning would help.
