Dave Hare replaced a pendant light in a 2-story foyer for us. He cut the 7' wire and hung the light a couple feet higher than the old light. After cutting the wire, removing the ground wire altogether, and installing it he then asked my wife if it was at a good height. When my wife told him no and that she wanted it lower in line with the old light - he then spliced the cut wires with electrical tape and lowered the light. He did not tell my wife about the splice before leaving. I'm thinking this is not code compliant, is an eye sore as the splices are exposed, and a safety as you can easily touch the spliced wires from the second floor. I asked him to come back and rewire the new light and get his 6 foot ladder that he forgot. He then cancelled one appointment and then no showed on the second appointment. He's not returning my texts or phone calls now. Headed to small claims court.

He did do work. Arrived on time. Got right to work on the problem, which was successfully resolved.

My electrical panel fried. He came in, identified the problem, and immediately fixed the issue because he didn't want it to cause any further damage. Great provider!

Dave also did some painting and drywall work . He said he was an experienced contractor. The electrical work was fine. The painting and drywall were not. He paid no attention to details and was sloppy. He dropped a paintbrush on the carpet. He did clean it up. There is paint on the molding and on the ceiling. His drywall patches were sloppy. I was stupid enough to pay him because he said he'd be back that afternoon to do touch up's and of course he never showed and he's not returning phone calls. My husband just passed away a few months ago and I guess I have to learn how to deal with hiring contractors. Not to be so trusting.

Diagnosed problem and completed job in a timely and professional manner

Dave is a professional and his work is top quality. He did exactly what he said he would. Would recommend him to others.

Work done was not as needed/expected. Gave me a business card with a disconnected phone number. Has not responded to several emails. Wondering if that is a bad contact, too. Waiting for Dave to respond and make things right.

The service was as promised. He showed upon time, did the expected job, cleaned up after himself, and was reasonably priced. Would use again, and would recommend.

Called Twin Electric the owner came over because he was in the area. I asked if he'd attach a 4 prong extension to my washer. He did it very quickly and left saying he would be in the area on Fri. 26th and finish. I called him 15min later because he didn't move the washer back in place and I could open the washer door because of where he left it. I paid him $100.00 for 20min. and then never heard from him. I've called him twice. I had to hire someone else.
