Two Hands and a Hammer Roofing

I hired Chris to repair the damage caused by the inept installers of gutter covers, which I had already had removed. He suggested replacing the bottom two rows of shingles in part of the front and back of my house, which was supposed to fix the leaks. After the first rain I called him and told him the roof was still leaking in several places. He promptly returned and worked on the leaking problem, which was somewhat solved. Each time it rained I saw that were several places that continued to leak through the soffit and fascia. He must have been here five or six times to address the persistent leaking in the back of the house. A couple of weeks ago he stopped taking my calls and I always got his voice mail. After repeated calling him last week on Friday he sent out a couple of men who said they found a cracked shingle and glued it. I had high hopes that this would finally solve the problem. Unfortunately, the next time it rained it was still leaking. I have called him several times and asked him to call me to discuss the problem and he refuses to do so. I understand his frustration with having to come back to my house so many times and not being able to solve the leaking problem, but after all, the damage is happening to my house. He gave me a signed copy of his Workmanship Warranty which guarantees his work for one year. There is no mention of the number of times it may take to resolve the problem. It is very unprofessional of him to ignore my calls and not live up to his own Warranty. Because he did not solve my roof leaking problem I now have no recourse but to pay for an entire new roof, even though it is only about 10 years old.

Note: I ended up going with a shingle roof instead of. mental roof. I contacted Two Hands and a Hammer based on their ratings here on Home Advisor and was not disappointed. Chris promptly contacted me and was extremely professional from the initial walk thru of my project to the completion of it. His estimate returned quickly and there were no suprises in the final price. Chris and his crew not only worked quickly, but completed the job to an extremely high standard from the prep work to the actual clean up once the project was complete. Other than my new roof, you cannot tell they were even there. I would recommend Two Hands and a Hammer to anyone!
