Two Rivers Tree Service

Very rarely do I leave a bad review on a small business. It's tough out there and things happen, but in this situation I'm at a loss for words. Job was supposed to be completed on Monday June 16th. It is now August 5th. The excuses were eerily similar to the excuses I'm reading in the other reviews. Started the job, then didn't finish and strung customers along because the equipment broke, truck broke, funeral etc. I don't know what else to call it other than a scam.

If I could give a 0 star I would. This guy came and did 10% of our huge tree. First he came late, said he couldnâ t finish the job because his chipper â brokeâ but said he could get 80-90% of the tree done. He was here for a full 8 HOURS and got two limbs done. We paid in full because we trusted him. Itâ s now 2 weeks later, he sent me a screenshot that heâ s going on a cruise but told me he couldnâ t finish the job because his lift was stolen. Itâ s always an excuse. If you decide to stupidly pay this man to do a job, donâ t pay in full. If you decide to stupidly hire this man because heâ s charming and truth worthy, I promise , heâ s going to screw you over

The first time we used this service, we were very happy. However, we tried to contract with them a second time and it has been horrible. We paid $3,000 cash up front to have a tree removed. It was rescheduled, which was fine. We were told the power would be shut off to our house for safety purposes, so on the next scheduled day we made arrangements to work elsewhere (I was working from home) but no one ever showed up. The power company had been informed not to do the work, but we were not informed the work would not be done. When we finally got in touch with him (after multiple attempts), he said he was ill and in the hospital. OK, we can work around that. Except he went completely radio silent on us. After two weeks, I called from my workplace leaving a message asking if they were still taking jobs (it was November), he called back within three minutes and said they were. When I pointed out he already had our money, he said he couldn't because he had a funeral that weekend (it was Tuesday) and said he'd be in touch with my husband. Two weeks later and multiple attempts by my husband and myself to contact him and he has not responded. We were more than willing to be flexible, but he has completely ghosted us and I suspect we are going to have to take legal means to get our money back. I have since seen that he does this with many of his clients and has an F rating with the BBB. I do not recommend.

Efficient, prompt, did an awesome job in a very tight space of two HUGE trees. Cleaned up afterwards so much more than I expected. The large boards they put down on the lawn prevented divots from the massive branches as they were dropped to the ground. Very organized, safe and impressive tree work!

Called for an estimate for tree removal, they were quick to respond and a very reasonable cost compared to others. They showed up when they said they would, and did an outstanding job cutting the tree! They were efficient, worked well as a team and did an outstanding job cleaning up when the job was finished! Couldn't get to job for one reason or another for a couple of days, but I was kept advised of the situation. When they showed up the tree trimming job was quick and efficient. Clean up was excellent. Would hire again

i appreciated him in doing his job! Got here fast first one gave me a bid. totally thought it was fair they came in days and job is done. Well he is in the process of getting a stump grinder and then job done. but yeah efficient and clean up was awesome as well.

Good to work with, had just a small tree and trimming.

Three pine trees were removed along with the logs and limbs. Start to finish it took less than 4 hours. The trees were 60 - 70 feet tall. I also got a quote on the stump removal before they left that seems reasonable for later this year.

Had some difficulty getting the job completed, but it was eventually done.

So happy to have this work done! I don't believe there could be faster or better service available; out to see property and provide a quote within 1/2 hour of my inquiry and work completed 2 days later! For sure Rich and crew know what they're doing, and work so well together. Cleanup was quick and thorough. Price was very fair. I'll have them back to do more work later in the year!

Rich and his team came out and remove a few trees for me. They did a fantastic job. Cleaned up everything. Couldnâ  t even tell they did a big job! I highly recommend Rich and his team.

We had a large oak tree about ready to have limbs fall probably when I mow. The tree had to come down. Two Rivers crew took it down and trimmed 3 other trees, cleaned up the mess from the limbs and branches in about 4 hours. I was impressed with the professionalism and courtesy from all the crew.

I had 5 different quotes and TRT was the first and the best. They were so quick ! Less than 1 hr. they were gone and had completely cleaned up all the debris, including the limb that broke off and was still in my yard. They took it no charge. Professional company. I will hire them again in the Spring for the stump.

We had an enormous maple fall on our house in the middle of the night. Rich was out the next morning and was extremely helpful. He gave me great advice about dealing with my home owners insurance. Rich and his crew did a tremendous job in very challenging circumstances. They had to avoid further damage to my house and nearby shed. Not to mention the power lines very close by! I highly recommend Two Rivers Tree Service for any of your tree service needs.
