Ty-Tan Construction

This company was hired in 2017 to put in a sewer, they told me that they would put in a "back backflow valve that would outlive me" this was through the Government Community Block program, NDS and my city, the sewer backed up the backflow valve failed Years1,2,3 or 4? The City sanitation came out assisted and left me with a bottle of green hazardous waste liquid that they use to clean and sanitize, the workers mentioned the work looked poorly done, I've been fighting this since 2017 everything has fallen on deaf ears the company was paid through the NDS and my city I guess because there's a lien against my home, I have finally escalated this to HUD, as I'm a disabled homebound senior also with a terminally ill dog they never got back with me nor my city has to assist me legal aid says they are unable to help because it's government money, Ty- tan was paid I'm still suffering from poor work. I have mold in my basement in the lower bath and other, horrible contractor!

We ordered a custom arched storm door from Ty-Tan in July of 2018. We gave Tom 50% down. It took 8 months for him to show up with the door. Since the installation, we noticed a gap between the door and the frame. This last winter, the door froze because heat was escaping. The outside trim had slid. We called Tytan and they said they would stop by the next day. They were a no-show. They didnâ t even call. Since then we have called about 25 times. They wonâ t even answer the phone.

Tom is friendly and personable, and he's always done good work. My only recommendation is communication could be improved.
