Professional. Left job better than he found it.
Professional. Left job better than he found it.
Called early on a Friday morning and was told a technician would be sent between 1-3 pm. Technician arrived at 1:20 pm, he was nice and very professional. Had the job completed, cleaned the debris up from where he had to cut the drywall to replace the pipe all in about 2 hours. Instead of charging separately to replace two pipes, he combined them into one. As a first time user I would definitely recommend the company.
The Technician repaired the faucets great job
The service was prompt, reasonable price, on time and professional . We were very pleased with the plumber!
Run away from USA Pipe Repair. They DO NOT follow Commonwealth of Virginia DPOR Board of Contractors regulations that govern their profession. Their work DOES NOT comply with the Virginia Plumbing Code. They DO NOT obtain required plumbing permits. They DO however treat their customers with total dishonesty and disrespect. UPDATE: Although they claim in their response that they follow DPOR Board of Contractors regulations, that is NOT TRUE. As other reviewers have noted, they did not provide a contract and did not obtain a signature on that contract before proceeding with work as required. I never received a contract; they never obtained my signature on any document let alone a legal contract. They did however take my inquiry/questions about the proposed work as a signed contract. They showed up at my residence without any appointment/notice and proceeded to break-in to my hidden and secure crawlspace access door without even contacting me first. I was in the shower on the second floor of the residence when they entered my home and started work without my knowledge, consent, agreement, or signature. Furthermore, although they claim to have proof from the permits and inspections office that their work did not require a permit, that is absolutely NOT TRUE. I DO have written (and verbal) documentation from all local jurisdictions (Henrico County, Hanover County, The City of Richmond, and Chesterfield County) that does prove that a permit and inspection ARE REQUIRED for ANY sewer pipe alteration, repair, and replacement. Not only are a permit and inspection required by the local authorities, but The Virginia Plumbing Code also clearly states that a permit is required for sewer pipe alterations and repairs. According to Henrico County the work USA Pipe Repair did at my property (without my consent) did not comply with Virginia Plumbing Code (sections P2502.2; P3005.2.3 in particular). USA Pipe Repair has since refused to comply with Permit and Inspections requirements and has refused to bring their work into compliance with the Virginia Plumbing Code and Virginia DPOR Board of Contractors regulations as required. I did provide this proof to my credit card company, and I was fully credited the charged amount for the work not being in compliance with the laws and plumbing codes that govern USA Pipe Repair's profession. USA Pipe Repair (the Owner) has harassed me, threatened me, cursed at me, and called me every name/slur in the book. Even after requesting a cease and desist for the repeated texts and calls, the owner continued to make harassing phone calls and text messages. The owner has harassed me in an attempt to get me to accept money out of his personal account in order for me to not file any complaints or post negative reviews.
Mr. Cxxxxxx, we provided you proof from the permits and inspections office that a permit or inspection was not required for the repair. Also DPOR and locality permit and inspections offices are two different offices who handle different aspects of our business. We are in compliance with DPOR and the permitting office for your county. There was no dishonestly or disrespect on our part. All we asked Was for you to pay for service rendered.
