"Good afternoon, Heather, because you had something very important scheduled that following weekend, we did everything we could to get you in as an emergency case the day after you had initially called in. Not only did we do that, but the way our mapping system routes our crew, starts them at the furthest property away from their home each day, leading up to the property closest to their home at the end of the day and we reversed the route that day so that we could make sure that your property was completed for your important event. The morning after a storm is not always the ideal time to clean gutters, because the debris and leaves in the gutters can become heavy and wet. This, paired with human error, can create an embarrassing complaint from our clients. Our normal protocol is that we ask for pictures of the error so that we can lead the crew in the right direction on where they can rectify the issue and if the crew is already at the next property performing their gutter cleaning, we ask that we be able to schedule a "Call Back" on our next available day to rectify the issue. We knew that it would not be right to do this in your case and had the crew turn around as soon as they could, however, they were already at the next property and had begun the gutter cleaning there. When I personally spoke with him, there must have been a miscommunication or, the gutter cleaning at that property took longer than he had anticipated because he had given me the time of 30 minutes that he would return. Once the crew had returned to your property, an hour and a half had passed and they were turned away because you had explained to them that they had taken too long so you did the clean-up yourself and for that, we are sorry. Uncle Skeeter prides itself on being communicative, convenient, and empathetic to our clients. When we fell short of our goals, we offered you a discount of $100 off of your gutter cleaning and I spoke with the crew and reiterated that on days after storms, they have to be particularly careful with falling debris and do a walk-around the property once completed to know that it is then okay to leave.
