Do not choose anyone else. They worked hard and did an amazing job. Not a scratch on my new floors. Went the extra mile to prep my attic for service. I was so very happy i chose them!!!

Great company to work with. They installed a complete Furnace/Air conditioning system for me at a great price. Installation was done quickly and professionally. Highly recommend them.

UniColorado gave me a great quote for an air conditioner and furnace installation. The price was quite a bit lower than other prices Iâ d seen, and it was near the bottom of industry averages based on my research online. Better still, they credited me the money for work theyâ d previously done to keep my old air conditioner running. This was a very nice gesture considering the parts and labor they already put into the effort to salvage that system, even though it was beyond saving. As an aside, the fact that I initially called them for a new AC, and they tried to fix my old AC before installing the new one, showed how committed they were to saving me money wherever possible. The price they quoted for the furnace/AC was exactly the price they charged when the job was done. Many contractors find a way to sneak in extra fees. Not these guys. They actually had several opportunities to add extra charges that wouldâ ve been completely justified (ex., they had to replace more parts from the old system and dealt with some unforeseen structural challenges in the house), yet they didnâ t go a cent over the quoted price. The UniColorado team showed up exactly on time for every appointment, down to the minute. They didnâ t show up at 8:01 for an 8 am appointment. They showed up as my watch hit 8. They gave me a full account of all the work, let me ask questions, went into detail about the workings of air conditioning systems, and even gave me maintenance tips. They didnâ t merely put the new system in my house â they made sure Iâ d be able to do everything I needed to do to improve its performance and lifespan. The quality of the work was incredible. The equipment they installed was not only brand new but so clean and beautifully maintained it looked like it had come right from the factory. It was set up with as much care as if they were working on their own homes. They actually went beyond the agreed upon work in many ways. For example, they had to run a new ventilation pipe from my furnace in the middle of the basement through a bedroom to get outside. Exposed piping in the bedroom wouldnâ t have been beautiful, but I thought it was necessary and asked them to add it. The team found a way to run the pipe through the ceiling so it was completely hidden. They spent more time on the job, made it considerably harder on themselves, and exceeded the expectations Iâ d given them, to do something that was purely aesthetic. The team members were some of the nicest people Iâ ve ever met â not just compared to other contractors but compared to people in general. Polite. Friendly. Considerate. I felt like I had friends over. I was honestly sad to see them go when they finished working. And while Iâ m on the subject of them leaving, Iâ ll point out that they finished the job several hours early, despite all the extra steps they took to make sure everything was done perfectly. They treated my home like it was theirs and made my familyâ s comfort a top priority. They put protective coverings over the floor, protected my furniture, and maneuvered around some awkwardly placed furniture because they didnâ t want me to have to move anything. They showed concern about whether my dogs were comfortable during the work, and wanted to make sure Iâ d have a way to get them out for walks while the equipment was being moved. A few hours after the team left, I discovered that sometime during their check of the registers, they actually swept dog fur up from behind my couch. The idea of an AC/furnace installation team cleaning a customerâ s floor in an area thatâ s hidden from view and that 9 out 10 customers probably wouldnâ t notice is something I wouldnâ t have believed if it didnâ t see it personally. The fact that they did this without a word (and, of course, without additional charges) defies any expectations Iâ ve ever had for contractors.

Our furnace quit working on December 20, 2019 so I called UniColorado after reading about them on the internet. They came out the same day and told me that the furnace was over 15years old and should be replaced. I expected this as we had had the furnace and AC repaired three times in the past 3-4 years. We agreed to buy a new furnace and AC system that would be installed the next day. The technicians showed up on time, and within 6 hours our new system was installed and ready to heat our home. We agreed that they would come out again in the Spring to test the new AC. In April I turned in the AC and all seemed well but overtime I realized the outdoor exchange fan was making some strange noise that didn t seem normal. I called our UniColorado technician directly and he said he would be out between 930 and 10 the next morning. He showed up at 930a and immediately began his diagnostic tests to figure out was wrong. Within 15 minutes he found the problem, told me that it was due to something they had failed to do during the install. I really appreciated the honesty in his response, but I was not surprised as he had followed through on everything he had said from the get go. In general our experience working with UniColorado was exceptional. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. Our HVAC system is working great and I would tell anyone needing repairs or a new system that you can trust doing business with UniColorado.

Very professional, prompt and...courteous. Service technician was determined to find "fix" to a very complicated situation... on a 17 year old furnace. Requested advance photo of my furnace. This allowed technician to have necessary parts for repair when he arrived. Total price of job is $6,000 LESS than most recent bid. ATTENTION SENIOR CITIZENS! As a senior citizen on a set income, I truly appreciate the honesty, reliability and expertise of this company. My overall rating? OUTSTANDING!

We initially learned of this company when we were getting our other home ready to rent and wanted a furnace inspection. They were very nice and advised that they were licensed and did everything **per code** Based on the initial experience, and after getting many bids, we hired them to install a new furnace and water heater for our new home. We had one plumber indicate to us that water heater permits were optional. Having done my research, I knew that not to be true. Therefore, prior to hiring Uni, I asked whether they would obtain permits and schedule follow-up inspection with the City. I was assured that they would. Based on this assurance and representation, we hired them to do the work. They came and did the install on June 6, 2019. They left my basement a mess but I figured I would not have to see them again. Unfortunately, the next day, the temperatures dropped, and we needed heat. The furnace (that was 1 day old) was not working. We called Uni, and they indicated that in Colorado, a furnaces needed a high altitude **something** which was not installed and needed to be ordered. Given that they operate in Colorado and are in the business of installing Furnaces, this was the first red flag. They came the following week to repair it. I spent the next several weeks chasing them to schedule the inspection with the City, only to get the run around and was told they were waiting for City to schedule it. I finally decided to call the City, when I learned that the project they did was never permitted. I then went on to contact Colorado Dept of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) and learned that they were not licensed plumbers. They applied for the permit that day and were denied because my municipality requires a license Master plumber, which they were not. They contracted with a 3rd party plumber in order to apply for a permit that same day and inspection occurred on June 25, 2019. The work did not pass inspection and required additional work be done to remedy it. I have been trying to get them to remedy the installation since June 25, 2019 without any success. Each time we discuss, they mention that other municipalities do not have these requirements. Bottom line, we live in a municipality that requires it, and they were hired based solely on representations they made that they were licensed in accordance with the municipality and had pulled proper permits, none of which was done. While this is still ongoing, I do not want someone else to find themselves in the same position.

Response from Company:

This customer's money has been refunded, after multiple solutions were offered and refused. Here's the situation as it happened: 1) The water-heater installation was completed at an low price. We completed the waterheater job for $1400, while other companies would have charged in the excess of $2000. We did promise a permit, as we are licensed in the City of Centennial. 2) The permitting process was put off for a while on our end, as June is our busiest month. The delay, by the way, is a non-issue for cities, as they will get the inspection done anyway. At this point, I understand the customer's frustration, as they were promised a permit. We pulled the permit, around the end of June while the install was done in the beginning of June. We found out that Centennial has a master plumber requirement for waterheaters, which is not true in Denver, Aurora, Arvada, Commerce City, Westminster, Littleton, Arapahoe county and more. This customer just keeps repeating that they live in Centennial and they don't care about elsewhere; just a food for thought: just because a municipality has their own made-up requirements, it does not make the skill set and technical knowledge of the technician invalid, dear customer. 3) At this point, we paid a third-party plumber to pull a permit and inspect the unit, before the city inspection. The customer refused to allow the third-party to visit, just so we can fix issues if there were any. Again, we kept good on our promise of a permit. 4) The city inspection did not pass due to previously EXISTING issues of the home. They were there BEFORE we were there (lack of expansion tank and drain pan). They were not caused by us or as the customer puts it, by an "unlicensed install". They were existing issues. 5) When we found out about the city inspection, just to remedy the issue, we decided to pay out of pocket for these previously existing issues. We offered two solutions which were refused by the customer: For us to fix the issues at a time convenient for them or have the third-party plumber complete the work on their own schedule. Both solutions were refused. We then offered to take our installed unit back and REFUND THEM IN FULL ($1400). We were refused once again. If our work is so terrible, no problem. We'll take our equipment back and you can find someone else to install a new unit for you at double the cost. This has been the most difficult "situation" to handle for us as if generally, there are any issues, we try our best to remedy them and work with the customer. In this case, we were refused time and time again. We wish this customer the best of luck.

Fixed the issue instead of recommending unnecessary replacement of the entire system as others had suggested. I will be calling them back for future work.
