Color hardened before applied. Bubbles and scratches throughout. Finish coat inconsistent. They said they were going to fix but did not show. Would not return calls or messages. Not honoring warranty!

I wish that Able had told me that there would be color chips landing on my stuff on the wall shelving. Love the final product just not the clean up I need to do.

My garage floor was terrible with lots of deep cracks and very uneven. Not only are the cracks gone, but the floor was patched to even it out before the coating was applied. What a difference! I highly recommend this company. They do the job right!

We had a 1200 sqft basement that needed a lot of work including removing a lot of thin-set, removing layers of linoleum tile and even asbestos tile. Unique Concrete Coatings was the only company that said it was up to the job. Abe was very attentive and his crew was very quick for such a big and expensive ($26,000) job. From the start, he said they would seal off the basement from other parts of the house and said we needed to remove everything from the basement, which we then placed in our attached garage. On day 1 of work, there was no plastic or negative pressure ventilation. Despite asking for it, the most we got was plastic over vents, the doorway upstairs, and a built-in cabinet. Needless to say, layers of dust permeated the house and sine they used the garage as their staging area and left the door open, everything that we had placed in the garage also was covered in dust. Next, the chemicals they use are extremely toxic and we were forced to rent out own air-scrubbers and had to spend 3 nights in a hotel during the job due to fumes (it was November in Minnesota so we could not simply open the windows). When the job was complete, the epoxy seal and coloring look good but there are visible brush strokes and multiple pock-marks (some the size of a quarter) from the off-gassing of the chemicals they used. We have asked them to come back and look at/resolve these and they are refusing to as they see the job as done. The back-story to this is that while they were doing the job, our brother-in-law's work tools disappeared from our garage. We had to file a police report for insurance and the police wanted to know who had access to the garage right before the tools disappeared. We gave them Abes number with the acknowledgment that the tools were concrete working tools similar to what Unique was using and perhaps they got mixed up as they were clearing their gear out. The police did call Abe about the tools and now he is so upset about this he will not return to the job despite Unique Concrete Coatings claim of a lifetime warranty. In the end, the job got done and done quickly. I am embarrassed to think I spent $26,000 on something that does not look very good and am thankful that it is a least a basement and not a space to show off and that I can cover most of the surface with rugs. But for that price, should I have to cover it with rugs to hide the imperfections?

We had a bad experience. Unfortunately, we werenâ t home each time the work was done. The first of three times our patio was stained, Abe first made his own â designâ on our patio that was three separate patterns of swirls, and wasnâ t what we agreed to and we hated it. The patterns in three separate areas didnâ t even match each other! We did like the way the step turned out. So, he sanded everything but the step and redid the patio. We had him come over the next day to look at it, and he said â it looks terribleâ which we agreed. So then he said he couldnâ t match the step anyway so he sanded the entire patio plus step. We asked him to not seal it until we saw it. It is better but has three places where the stain ran and there are big streaks which obviously is from the stain running. I asked him if we could simply put a little more stain on and blend it before he sealed it. He refused, and at that point we agreed he could go ahead and seal it. When he sealed it, he put some scratches that look like maybe the handle of his brush scraped it or something, and this appears in a few places and looks terrible. Also the sealer is not applied smoothly. It is embarrassing to us when other people see it.Also, he and his crew spilled a bunch of stain on our grass which killed it, and he didnâ t acknowledge that at all.We took a chance on him because we thought if heâ s listed on HomeAdvisors he must be okay. BBB had no info on him. He had good reviews on his website which we now realize he could have put there himself or had someone else do it.Also, he quoted it would take two days, and we felt that would be fine. However, he completed the work very quickly and hence charged us about $400-$450/hour. We feel he was rushing to get the job completed and hence did not do a good job.I must say, he did come back every time and did try to make it right; but in the end he was just tired of doing the job and we had to settle for it the way it is.We are not happy.

First class, professional and efficient. Delivered everything they promised and more! Could not be happier with our new porch floor and would hire / recommend in a heartbeat.
