The customer service was excellent. More than excellent. I sent a gift certificate to the representative that came to my home to speak to me about the window. The reason being .....he cleaned up most of twhat was not done by the workman and very promptly. He was just so nice. However, he was actually doing some of the workman's job. The workmanship was excellent. However, I experienced some rough handling of my things when the workman removed the blinds from the window. Actually, they were roughly thrown on the floor and the handle which opens and closes the blind was broken. i had to have that repaired. Actually, the workman never knew it because I had the pleasure of putting up the blind after the work was done. I had noticed the broken turning mechanism on the blind along with all the strings being entangled together when he roughly PLACED THE BLINDS ON THE FLOOR. I also asked the workman to do something extra for me and I wish I had never asked. I WAS NOT very pleased with that kind of work. Also, the workman never explained anything to me when he arrived. I literally had to ask meekly about some things because I felt he really didn't want to be bothered by my questions. I'm sorry I had to report this in this manner but actually it is the way it went.

We regret that our installer handled your blinds roughly. When customers request that we remove and reinstall hardware for curtains and blinds, we aim to accommodate those requests as best as we can. Clearly that wasn't the case in this situation, and for that we apologize. We have spoken with this installer about his handling of your blinds and, for lack of a better word, his attitude during your installation and will use this experience to focus on areas to further train our installers. We're happy that our window specialist took excellent care of you and helped to alleviate some of the issues you had with the installer. Do not hire this company. Poor quality work and no customer service. They had to reorder a window frame 4 times and it still is not replaced. Said they would be back the following Saturday to replace the frame so they wanted to leave the siding off until they came back..never showed up! That was a month ago and I not heard from anyone. Siding is scattered all over back yard. Great for the Labor Day gathering! It's been a month since final payment was processed and I have not received any warranty information as promised.

"As we stated in our responses to your 2 reviews on BBB, we can understand your frustrations with the ordering issues. As with any custom products, sometimes orders come in incorrectly from the manufacturer. Unfortunately in your case this happened several times with the same item. We will use this experience to better inform future customers of potential hang-ups with that specific manufacturer. With regard to your other concerns, we regret that our installer made a promise to return a few days later to complete the installation without checking with us in the office (or telling us of the promise he made). We have used this as a training opportunity with that installer. As we needed to wait again for the last correct window frame to come in, there was no way he could have returned to complete the installation on the Saturday that he said he would (as we didn't have the final piece in our hands to install). Unfortunately that left you waiting on a Saturday without explanation, and we very much regret and apologize for that. The date on this review says 9/7, but we just received it from Home Advisor on 11/6, and as you made note that the final payment has been processed (which happened on 10/16), I'm assuming you wrote the review in November, and that this is your current state of concern. I?m not sure why you haven't received the warranty information, we sent it out as soon as we collected final payment on 10/16, if you had emailed or called us to let us know, we would certainly have sent it out again (which we will do today). We do recognize that having a few pieces of siding off of your house for a month is not an ideal situation. Because your siding is old and fragile (that happens over time), putting them on and off can damage them more and render them too damaged to use. That's why we didn't opt to do that. The installers made sure to leave them in a neat stack next to the location where they would be replaced, but as siding is fairly light in nature, the wind must have blown them into your yard. I'm not sure why you would state that you didn't hear from anyone in a month, we have been in steady email communication with you throughout this process. We have an email from you in mid-September, stating that everything was fine (after the final window frame was installed on 9/19). When you reached out to us a few days later and indicated that you really weren't satisfied with the way your home looked after the old siding was put back on after the completion of the project, we took it upon ourselves to search out the exact siding you have on your home and to replace any pieces around the affected area with new siding. We did this at no cost to you, and as you paid us on 10/16 for the final balance due and indicated that you were satisfied with the finished project, we took your word for it. We certainly understand your desire to review our work and to let others know of your experience with us and we use less-than-i"
