James and Matthew of United Chimney did a good job putting a new cap, removing the old damper, and then cleaning the chimney in two hours as promised. I'll need to wait to see if there is still any cold draft during the winter.

Charged me $1500 to screw some sheet metal into my firebox to fix some holes. I wasn't home to refute it unfortunately. They didn't even fix all the holes so I had to go in and finish the job.

United chimney was on time, did the job the way it supposed to be dooms at a fair price. I will hire them again when needed.

They were well priced and worked diligently.

Overall good work. Workers came in and were very friendly (even sweet to my dog) and went right to work. They did an excellent job with the fireplace. Customer service wise they had to cancel and reschedule, after which they were late and didn't bother to call. I had to call them, with that, they did fix the problem promptly and arrive within the hour. Rating is based on lack of communication and scheduling. The work overall was great.

The service call was returned immediately, appointment confirmed and they arrived on time during the time frame. They completed the job quickly and made sure the area was clean. An explanation of what was needed and how it would be done was also given. They completed the job on a cold, rainy day which required them to climb a ladder. Job well done. Required.

Great employees! They arrived on time, explained what and how they were going to tackle the task at hand. The were very friendly and open to suggestions. They performed the job very efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. I'm very happy with the way everything turned out. If I ever need chimney work, I will be happy to hire them again.
