Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation and Replacement
The roofing portion went great. Siding and painting did not go well at all. Unable to get them to complete/correct after a month of requesting.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation and Replacement
From Beka in the office to David and his crew all were professional and courteous and knowledgeable about the work. They replaced my roof, repaired/painted two ceilings where roof leaked and added blown in insulation to the attic. They noted and took pictures to show us of three areas in the attic where electrical wires were lying around and not in boxes. After showing us the problem they installed 3 electrical boxes. They also advised the bathroom fan was vented into the attic and not outside and installed a proper roof vent. Beka from the office kept us advised of any added costs for the problems they encountered. The painter covered and/or moved the furniture and cleaned up after doing the priming, sanding and painting. You can't tell there were any leaks. The crew upon completion of the job cleaned up all debris and even ran a magnetic over the area for any nails. I would highly recommend this company. I look forward to the Spring when they will return to replace the flat rubber roof above the breezeway.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation and Replacement
The office staff, estimator, project manager, foreman and workers were all very responsive, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The workers were respectful of our property, did a great job on our roof and cleaned up beautifully. They even installed some light bulbs outside our front door and cleaned out a gutter, while they were there with their ladders. We will use them in the spring for a vinyl fence installation they quoted for us.

Wood Fence Installation
United Construction and Remodeling was hired to install fence posts on our property. The team performed the work quickly and as requested. They were friendly and a pleasure to interact with and also provided advice on on some other construction and landscaping items in process on the property, which was very helpful. The work was done while we were out of town and there was no evidence that they had even been there when we returned. They completely cleaned up. I also appreciate the professionalism of the 3 people I interfaced with: Becca in the office, Jim (?) who did the estimate and Dave, the Project Manager. They also were understanding of the issues that people on a fixed income have to deal with. Good company all the way around.

My parents recommended United Construction & Remodeling to us, because this company did such a good job on their roof repair around their sky light. I would recommend UC & R to anyone, not only did they fix the problem on the first try (there were issues with how the roof was originally designed, which they fixed), but also, the person (Tom) who came to do the work was polite, professional, and took a few extra minutes to explain to me exactly what was wrong and how he fixed it, even complete with a picture! Also, all other roofing companies were booked out several months, but UC & R was able to fit us in very quickly.
