Write a ReviewIf your blood pressure is unnaturally low, and you are in absolutely no hurry for the work to be done, and you enjoy working with companies that ignore you for weeks on end-- by all means, call these guys! Very poor communication, and their scheduling promises are worthless. After months of delays, we had many tense phone calls (all made by us--they never called), pointedly asking when they would be here. They started trying to guilt us by saying they would have to reschedule other jobs (were these new jobs, or jobs for clients who had been waiting longer than the 4 months we did...?) and finally arrived to reroof our house. It took them a couple ( non-consecutive) days, but the roof looked a little unfinished, and they left power cables just draped around the guttering. Another call to ask if they were coming back-- dispatcher now openly snarky. Eventually, Don came back to see what we were talking about and ended up spending hours here (we could see him on the Ring) fixing what the crew had left. The roof looks fine now, but the neighbors who recommended them are horrified that their company was so difficult. Not the neighbors' fault-- it sounds like standards have definitely slipped at United Roofing Solutions.
Hello Mary, We appreciate you expressing your concerns and/or experiences with our company. It is important to us to know so we can make improvements where needed along the way. We also feel it is important for consumers to hear from both parties to make an informed decision. In reference to the time frame, this is what we have on file. You requested a bid from us on 3/26/21 and we made accommodations to come out that same day to do the estimate. We emailed the estimate to you the following business day on 3/29/21. On 4/14/21 you contacted us to move forward with your proposal. That day we emailed you all the documents we needed to be signed along with other items in need. We informed you at that time we were currently booking about 8 plus weeks out depending on the weather. We received your color selection on 5/10/21. We contacted you on 6/15/21 and 6/16/21 requesting your signed documents because we hadn't received them yet and we were trying to get your job on the schedule. We eventually received the documents on 6/21/21. We emailed you on 6/30/21 to get your work scheduled for 7/7/21. Unfortunately, the job we were working on the day before yours (job waiting in line just like yours, not given priority) ran into the next day due to unforeseen circumstances. This is when we contacted you to inform you that we had to push your job out to 7/9/21 our next available day. We understand it's not ideal when a job is rescheduled and we try everything in our power to avoid that but unfortunately things come up out of our control that can cause these last-minute scheduling changes. Customer service, transparency, and communication are very important to us. We apologize if you ever felt our staff did not provide that level of service to you and will be sure to address that accordingly. We thank you for contacting us to let us know about the missed items during clean-up and final walk-through from the crew. This is why we typically try and do final quality control checks to make sure anything like this gets addressed. We are glad to hear that Don came out the same day you contacted us and addressed these items during his final inspection. It is important to us that you are satisfied with the final work that was completed. We hope that the above explanation will bring a better understanding to your concerns, and change both your and your neighbor perspectives of United Roofing Solutions. In the end, customer satisfaction and quality workmanship are our number one priority.
A large team arrived. Work started with safety issues addressed. Workers knew their jobs and were efficient without obstructing other workers. I was kept informed of issues and issues were repaired to my satisfaction. They removed my satellite dish to replace roof sheeting and when they reinstalled the dish I had a stronger signal than before they arrived. Cleanup was THOROUGH! A worker went over the entire yard with a large, powerful magnet to gather nails. Debris was collected and hauled off. My patio and driveway was cleaned with a blower. I highly recommend this company! The admin office was friendly and courteous.
Low rent, garbage company. Replaced our roof around 7 years ago, and it leaks like a sieve. Pathetic workmanship when you see the pictures. Pathetic company as well. Would not even respond to our inquiries! After they leave and are paid, good luck getting them to come back.
They were very friendly, professional, and did an excellent job.
The owner came out to provide the estimate. It was so fairly priced, I could not resist the bid. The guys came out, installed all the gutters and even fixed a downspout that was not part of the original scope of work. In fact it looked so good, I had them gutter my shed too! Thanks guys!
I had an appointment for an estimator to assess the work to be done. The owner himself came out. I had two pipe boots that were allowing water to leak and a few loose shingles. He fixed them immediately and didn't charge me a thing. He also took quick look at the rest of the roof and said everything looked fine. This was the first time I had dealt with the company, but it won't be my last. They are a great, honest, local family business.
