Stone Slab Countertops Installation (Granite, Marble, Quartz, etc)
$2,800
They postponed our install appointment multiple times, then FINALLY showed up around 10 pm on Thanksgiving Eve to install granite in 2 bathrooms. We had purchased a piece of granite for our master vanity and kitchen island but were only ready to install the bathroom counter. They installed the master bathroom counter, but the undermount sinks were installed off-center. They also installed a counter in a secondary bath, that we had selected from their remnants, but they installed the wrong granite and did not install the requested backsplash. They tried to act like we didn't ask for the backsplash. They still have the granite that we purchased for our kitchen island. The night of the install they promised to come back and replace the granite in the secondary bath. I also initially received multiple text promising they would come by and 'take care of us', meaning fix the mistakes. After about a month, I told them we had given them ample time to come back to fix the install issues, and I just needed my remaining granite delivered (for our kitchen). We have never heard back. That was 6 weeks ago. They will not respond to text or phone calls. We were completely willing to give them a chance to correct the install mistakes. Unfortunately, the work was poor and they stole our remaining granite, which cost much more than the money we lost on their services.

Stone Slab Countertops Installation (Granite, Marble, Quartz, etc)
$4,400
Hired United Stone Works to install granite countertops in my kitchen. Issues started from the beginning. Richard first purchased the wrong color granite, since out selected granite was out of stock. He did this without notifying or consulting us. We wanted a built-up edge on our countertop where a seam would not be visible (angle/miter cut). United stone works claimed this wasn't possible. (it is, we had this in our previous kitchen, and other countertops we've done previously) When granite was installed the color matching between the two pieces of granite on our island was terrible. Further within a week of installation, the granite came loose at the glue seam and a ~100 lb piece of granite nearly fell on my child. When notifying Richard about the issue, he told us it was our fault, and we had pulled it loose. 3 weeks after it broke, we are still waiting for him to come and fix the issue and honor his warranty

United Stoneworks is a new business and they lack the experience, tools, and professionalism to perform jobs with any degree of complexity. Would NOT recommend them. They bought the wrong granite, even when I picked the slabs - and didn't tell me. They couldn't do the miter edges I wanted and had to add an apron and it didn't match nicely. They cut my island wrong and glued on a piece from another slab that didn't match and had a large ugly white seam - looked very low quality. told me it would dry and look better after sealing it. Not so. The glued piece fell off after two days because it had no real support under it and there was stress on the glue the entire time. The slab was just not cut to make the island seamless and matching. They made tier 4 granite look tacky. No pride of workmanship. They offered to glue the old piece back on...but it should never have been like that, to begin with. Very disappointed. I spent a lot of money on this project and have had granite installed before - they screwed up on cuts and edging and this project cost more than they thought (due to own lack of experience) and so they cut corners (literally) and tried to glue them back on.

Rich and Chad at United Stoneworks are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Their work is top notch, top shelf, and their prices are the best in the market. High quality workmanship. My old kitchen looks like a modern kitchen now. For anyone thinking of having new countertops and backsplash installed look no further than United Stoneworks!

This is first time I used United Stoneworks. Used another company 10 years ago to cut an opening in my quarts countertop for a new cook top. Updated all my appliances and tried several cook tops but none would go in the opening. Finally found one at Lowe's but still needed the opening to expand 1/16". Robert & James came in and within less that 30 minutes had it cut wide enough for the new cook top to fit perfectly. left minimal mess in the area they cut in. Would definitely use them again if needed on another project related to stone work. Highly recommended!!!
