I have been getting service from Dimitri ever since 2013. He has been excellent on every repair we have called him for. He has fixed our convection oven, clothes dryer and icemaker in the fridge. Super nice, very honest and fairly priced.

Good experience with repairing my leaky dishwasher. They were prompt, diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Two weeks later it works. After the diagnosis, they found they did not need one part in the estimate and lowered the bill to reflect that. Dependable. Would hire again if needed.

Washer was leaking and had error message. Took two visits to fix the washer leaking and never followed through on the error message. Now need to hire another person to come in to fix the error. Prompt but I he didn't install the replacement piece right and had to come back. Then never followed through on the error code. Cost me $300 for a $100 part .

Do not hire this company. I am an absentee landlord and value trustworthy companies that do quality work for a fair price and don't up charge me for unnecessary work. This company would not tell me what was wrong with my unit, only that they would try to fix it for $99 if it was fixable, then didn't provide me with any feedback on the actual problem. I made the mistake of trying to hire them again, only to find that the guy was on vacation (didn't tell me he wouldn't be available for a week).

Electric dryer was spinning but no heat. He said he could fix it for $179. I said no thanks. He came back with $160. I again said no thanks. He said $99 guaranteed for 30 days, I said ok. He fixed it and billed me $99, but never told me what the problem was. I think it was a fuse that should have cost no more than $40.

My freezer suddenly wasn't freezing things and I had many pounds of meat rapidly thawing. I called several places at 6 am and left messages. Universal called me back almost immediately and had a repairman at my home within a couple hours. The repair was fast and the price was fair. I'll be calling Universal again for all my appliance repair needs.

After filling out a form I was contacted immediately and was scheduled for a visit to receive an estimate. One of the things I noticed with other companies was if you refused service they'd charge you around $75-100; whereas UAS only charged $25! After hearing the fee for the estimate I was sold but I was somewhat weary on the quality of service. In the end I was VERY satisfied with the overall service I received, and if there was only ONE thing I had to mention was the repairman didn't dispose of the broken part but left me to do it myself (it was a broken pump for my washer).

Very professional and reliable. I have an investment property in Las Vegas, I received a call from my tenants that the CAC unit is not working in this time of the year and in this heat. Repaired defroster on refrigerator. Charged me hourly rate plus flat rate to defrost. Told me if I used him again, I would get better price since he had to pay Home Advisor $30 referral. Timing was very prompt and work was good.

Universal appliance service called me as soon as I submitted my service request online with Home Advisor- Service Magic. They were able to get someone to me that same morning. Even though a part needed to be ordered (thermostat knob for gas oven), while he was there he fixed the other knobs for the stove-top which had been falling off. He called again two days later, with my new part in hand and arranged to be here at a time to fit my schedule. I was very impressed with both him and the service this company offers. He was fast, friendly and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone.
