    "Mike" is an appliance GENIUS!!!! We had a totally broken door on a 25 year old built-in oven, and all the door parts/glass panes were in a box; tried a few places, they refused to even come out. Mike showed up, and managed to get the door off--he very carefully laid out the door, and all the parts, and started carefully putting it back together. I swear, he was so meticulous, while putting it back together, he looked like a surgeon at work!!! The door now works perfectly--a total success. If you have a really old/obsolete appliance, call Mike--he's your guy, for the really tough/challenging jobs!!!!

    Mike called for scheduling. He was polite and called again when the tech was on the way. Gary came out to fix my washer machine. (I already had the diagnosis and the part). He was efficient and cleaned up everything after. He was knowledgeable and kind. He spent an hour or more working and charged $180 for the labor. Mike told me the price up front and it didn’t change. I would recommend this company for appliance repair.

    When I discovered our 20-year-old gas cook top making scary clicking sounds at 6:35 a.m., I went to Home Advisor and generated a request, only to find that nobody was open at that hour of the morning. The only response came after 8 AM from Mike at Universal Appliance Service - and it turned out that they had a record of service to us in the past. Mike patiently explained that water had gotten into the works, an annoyance but not an emergency. He helped me solve the problem over the phone, saving the cost of a house call. That's deeply appreciated, true Customer Service!

    Mike was able to come out the same day, which was a godsend. He was very efficient, pleasant, and explained everything being done. He was even able to give me the history of the company of my older oven. I would definitely call him again for any of my appliances.
