This is the first time I have been forced to leave a less than positive review on a Yelp listing. I recently had Universal Concrete Coatings apply an epoxy floor coating at my new home. Everything seemed to go smoothly. After completion, and upon further inspection, I noticed the granite flake was over exposed. I contacted Mike at Universal and he promptly agreed to come back and apply a second top coat to resolve the issue. Then two days ago the epoxy coat started to bubble and peel. Not only is the epoxy peeling, but I also found several areas that clearly did not receive the second top coat. I have left three messages with Mike regarding this issue, but I have not yet received any response. It is clear that I will have to hire a different company to document the errors and fix the issue. Then have my attorney seek reimbursement from Universal.

"We've made several attempts to contact the customer to remedy the issue. The customer was non responsive. Three coats of clear finish were applied for this particular installation. Universal Concrete Coatings went above and beyond the contract agreement."
