Universal Contractors did the best they could given the subcontractors with whom they work. They would do themselves a great favor by carefully screening their subcontractors before sending them out to a potential customer. They built us a shed that is still incomplete almost a month later.

This was the first, and the last time, we're doing business with this company. They were unprofessional, showed up late or not at all, and took advantage of our goodness just to make a lousy buck. They quoted us $350 to put our shed together but they brought extra materials and asked us to pay extra for them. I would not recommend Universal Contractors to anyone at all. Take your money and your business elsewhere.

This project was to repair leaks on the roof, only 1 out of 3 of the leaks was repaired. I was originally quoted to repair all leaks and also given a warranty, but they have not returned to fix the root cause of two of the other leaks. At this point my calls are not being answered/returned by James.

"Mr. T [Consumer name withheld at their request] was made aware by our staff/contractors that the roof as a whole needed to be replaced because at the time the leak repair would not last long. Mr. T [Consumer name withheld at their request] did not want to invest the money into his rental property therefore was after a quick cheap fix to "get by". He was given no warranty due to the above mentioned. As far as the calls not being answered or returned, that is an inaccurate statement made by Mr. T [Consumer name withheld at their request]. Members of our staff have reached out to Mr. T [Consumer name withheld at their request] and he is the one who has not answered our calls, nor emails on the matter. We were more than willing to work with Mr. T [Consumer name withheld at their request] to resolve any issue he was having."

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
Would of been 5 starts but the person who came out for the estimate did a crappy job. Had a roof lead, he never even got on the roof to look, or the attic. The man who came out to fix it, got on the roof, climbed thruout the whole attic and found the problem. Fixed it. The cost was a little more that I think it should of been being that it wasn't that big of a fix.
