I had this contractor come out over 2 years ago to get some wiring and panel upgrading done. I had been using them since then for other projects and it wasnt until recently that another employee from that same company pointed out the mistakes made from that very first project. I had paid them $4000 for that project. I had tried getting another company to fix the wiring but they refused to do so.I cannot get this contractor to come back out to fix their mistakes and admit to them

With you acting as your own general contractor having no knowledge about construction was detrimental to your completion. Its unreal that we were your number one company until you saw your project falling apart due to your inaccuracies. nonetheless we still wish the best for you in your endeavors but we highly recommend"

U.E.C. was, hands down, the BEST! They talked us through the project to make sure everyone was on the same page and to ensure the result was what we wanted. They hit it out of the park on all fronts. Easy to work with. Timely in responding. Timely in scheduling the project. Cleaned up after the project. We will definitely be calling U.E.C. the next time we need any electrical work.

I felt the cost was a scam. On Home Advisors it said $55/hr but he tried to charge me $75/hr and dropped it to $65/hr.He said it was an error on Home Advisor. He was 30 mins late but added that to the bill. The job could gave been done in 3 hours or less not 4 (30 mins late, worked on the wrong switch, etc) H.A. should check on this he said he tried to charge someone else a higher rate than H.A and had to adjust it.

"Greetings Jennifer, U.E.C. would like to address your matters noted, for starters we were definitely on-time, an error must have occurred on your behalf because you were contacted prior to our arrival, and you gladly accepted us., We took extra measures to correct the faulty hazardous wiring your husband had previously done that NEVER WORKED CORRECTLY which included (2) switches to operate (1) light, in order to correct that we have to investigate the other switch, (not the wrong one) also if you know how long it takes to complete an install maybe we should hire you...the work performed was done within all local building code requirements, we are independent licensed contractors and abide by the oath per NJ state requirements. A lack of understanding the billing information on our home screen cannot be our responsibility, It's spelled out as simple as possible, had you asked we would have taken EXTRA time FOR YOU to UNDERSTAND, U.E.C. Inc. has well over 160 (5)stars from previous customers and we aim to get more. Once you called the office at time of billing we gave you a discount on the billing, to ensure we are an easy company to work with. Not because you deserved it Here at U.E.C. Inc. we aim to please EACH AND EVERY customer, we also realize some people may not be able to be pleased including you and 2 others. (see our reviews) Sorry to see your negative notes on our page, you praised us and even tipped the technician when work was completed. Our problem was a loss of electricty to some of our outlets. We called the companies recommended by Home Advisor. Only U.E.C. came when they said they would. Others said they would come, but failed to show. Only one other kept an appointment but by then we had contracted with U.E.C. The repair man Brett, from U.E.C came and checked for the cause of the problem. As he checked for the cause he showed me and expained the faulty connections causing the problems and what needed to be done to correct them. We received a written estimate for repairs and we set a date to have it done. Brett and his helper came when they said they would, repaired my problems and left my house so clean you couldn't tell they were ever there. If you have any problems or need good reliable electricans, call this company. They are top notch in my book.
