Iggy was great throughout the entire process. He was professional and very fair with his bid. He wasn't like everyone else who was trying to charge me too much, relative to the work. And on top of that, his work was exceptional. He installed hardwood in our master and it looks great.

He was on time when the project started and finish on time. Our floors look amazing and I was so happy with his work. We used long, wide engineered hardwood planks. Iggy took some planks he thought I might not like and asked me how I wanted to proceed - use them, don't use them, cut them, etc. There were no surprises (which is a great thing during a remodel) and I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We had a very extensive remodel project and Iggy of Universal Flooring was one of many contractors we hired. Iggy was by far the most professional and highest quality contractor we worked with. He was always on time, delivered exceptionally clean and high quality results, and worked around other contractors who presented some unique and unexpected challenges to Iggy's work flow. Iggy exceeded our expectations in every respect and I would highly recommend him.

Igor was excellent! He was meticulous and very respectful of our needs and even went above and beyond what we asked for. Great service from bid to completion. Universal offered a fair price and excellent service. My floor was installed quickly and correctly. I would highly recommend contacting them for a bid. I was given a good education on the entire flooring world. I felt more than confident that I was making informed decisions through the whole process.

This is my first experience with installing cork flooring. Universal Flooring was picked out of 3 bids as being mid-range. The bid included baseboard trim and, as an add-on, all the door trim inside. The flooring and the trim is just beautiful. Iggy's work is really perfection. I knew it was going to be just right when they started by putting thick felt floor protectors on all the large and most of the small furniture in my condo. The cork flooring went in really well and I could see that Iggy and his employee are experienced and worked well together. I came over several times to see the progress. They cleaned up the work area every evening so I could come to visit in safety. After I accepted the bid it was quite some time before I got permission from my Homeowner's Association to install cork on the second floor. He had no problem waiting. He was always welcoming and answered my many questions. He was willing to reschedule the work at the last minute due to an unforeseen issue in my personal life; no problem. After the work was completed I noticed that the bath area caulking had been missed. I called Iggy and he immediately said that he would come over and do it as he had forgotten it; and he did, within 3 days. They both had access to my personal belongings and never did I worry about any of it being lost or damaged. They conformed to my HOA rules about signing in at the office and keeping the work/truck disturbance to other tenants at a minimum. This was a real relief to me. Universal Flooring is the kind of business that makes me know that honesty, quality and integrity really do exist in the contracting world. Thank you, Universal Flooring and Iggy for a job beautifully done.

Iggy does great work and is very professional. He also seems to really enjoy his work. Here is what he did for us: removed old carpet and padding, disposed of it, cleaned up all debris, put in new laminate wood floors, including the staircase, which is difficult to do from what I've read. Great value and great results.

I have installed wood floor before and knew that I wanted a professional to do it in less time and have it look flawless. Universal Flooring did just that! They flawlessly installed my wood floor. When presented with a tricky step down, they triaged the issue perfectly - even using materials that I did not have (he brought some from home). I get nothing but compliments on my new wood floor!
