Up Closets did an amazing job! Megan's professionalism and determination really helped me achieve what I was looking for. She understood my space and aesthetic considerations and gave helpful tips in navigating the complexities of CO-OP living. The installers Richie and Joe were on another level! Everyone should be so lucky to have these guys work on anything in their home. They were reassuring, clean, and quietly efficient masters of their craft. The whole experience made me want to order more closets just to see them all again. Thank you guys so much!

Absolutely love our custom closet. Sam (our designer) helped us make the absolute most of our space, she and Ethan was very responsive to questions throughout the process, and we are very happy with the quality!

Had an amazing experience with UpClosets. Sam scheduled my consultation very quickly and brought samples, took measurements and designed the closet on-the-spot. It was fully customizable which was crucial because I have 14’ ceilings. Ethan had suggested a Murphy bed with desk attachment which I didn’t even know was available but was perfect for my office/2nd bedroom space. They were fully transparent about pricing and timing and followed up regularly with the updates. The installers were an absolute dream! They were very professional and patient with my building management. They made sure the floors were protected and worked diligently for 3 days. They took care to ensure everything was secure and clean. The bonus was that they were very sweet to my dogs! Great experience. Highly recommend!

Up Closets built three wall-mounted bookshelf units for me and the work is outstanding. One of their people came out to measure and produced a plan detailed enough that I knew precisely what I would be getting, and the finished units look exactly like it. They allowed for customization and brought physical samples so I could handle the materials rather than choose from a picture. They quoted a price at the end of that visit and held to it, and when I later asked to have some of the shelving strengthened, they did that as well. By New York standards the cost was well below what I had expected and the quality well above it. They were also a pleasure to deal with. The owner answered the phone the first time I called and arranged the job himself, and he turned out to be one of the men who installed the units. My scheduling was awkward but they worked with me without fuss. They kept in touch while the materials were on order, so I never had to chase anyone. The installation was finished in a single day, apart from one small thing that needed correcting, and one of their men came the following day to see to it. A week or so later I found I needed some extra shelf pins, and the owner delivered them to my apartment himself. I met four people from the company over the course of this job and every one of them was genuine, straightforward and good at what they do. At no point did it occur to me that I was being overcharged or given anything less than their best work. Businesses run this well are rarer than they should be, and if I could give them 7 out of 5, I would.

I had a fantastic experience with UpClosets of New York and am very happy with the two bespoke closets they designed and installed for me. They make excellent use of my space and look great! Ethan, the owner, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process. Richard and Monk were excellent installers — professional, meticulous, and a pleasure to work with. Richard even came back on a separate day to finish a few things from the original design and really perfected an already great installation. One tip: be sure to review the design carefully beforehand, but don’t worry if you want to make adjustments along the way — the team was more than happy to make changes and updates to make sure everything looked right. Overall, I’m really happy with my closets and would absolutely recommend UpClosets of New York!

Highly recommend Upcloseting your space! Thank you, UpClosets! Highly recommend their services. We needed to reorganize our closet and their design team fit in all the features for our dream set up. They helped us make room for my sneaker collection and my gf?s jewelry!
