UpLift Garage Door

Poor service, dishonest, never return your call/text/email unless pressed! Dishonesty is what I would label this business. If I could give less than a 0.5 star, I would! My garage door kept going back up a few times when I tried to close it before it closed. The owner, Matt, came and led me to believe that he can fix my garage door problem without even looking at the unit. He quoted me for 265 dollars and I paid without hesitation. The problem came back the very next day. I tried to call/text and email and no call and text or email back until much later! He made up excuses saying that he cannot fix a unit that is 18 years old, my garage door opener unit is 5 years old! He said it would have cost me $400 but he gave me a break and started listing what he had done all the while never give me the work order when he did the work! I have to ask repeatedly for it! Then he tried to talk me into replacing BOTH units for $900-$1000 by saying trying to help me out here is a thing that we call and when I googled the cost of each unit of my garage opener which is Chamberlain Liftmaster, it cost ~$175.00 each from Home Depot! How could one charge ~$600.00 to replace something that may take less than an hour to do it? Now I have to use someone else for the job! Feel like being scammed! PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS! I would urge anyone with extreme caution when dealing with these people! The best possible way is NOT TO USE THEM! We are in the midst of pandemic and I believe that we should use and support local businesses BUT not a dishonest one! Needless to say, the best possible way to avoid being scammed out of your money is NOT TO USE them.

It's not often you get the chance to work with someone so nice, so honest, so responsive, and someone who does top-quality work. I was blown away by Matt every step of the process. And the work he did was perfect. I couldn't be happier. He is amazing.

I hired Matt to replace and install a new Garage Door Opener. He showed up on time and did an excellent job. He did not take any short cuts. He carefully took down all the old material and installed all new wires and new equipment. He did an outstanding professional job. His price was very reasonable and he left my garage cleaner than when he started. He is also environmentally conscious. He recycled all the old wires and metal. I am extremely satisfied with this work.
