The project took about 4 times the amount of time they quoted us. Subcontractors quit mid-way through the project. It was rediculous, but the finished product turned out great.

We hired Cavalier for a major addition of a master bedroom/bath and large front porch. Their sales person gave a great pitch. Not much from that initial meeting has come true. The company basically acts as a project manager. ALL of the work done on our home has been by sub-contractors not known to the company. Half the time nobody knows what is supposed to be done and big mistakes are made and fixed reluctantly. Communication has been poor and now we are having a hard time even getting them to finish what is left. We are extremely disappointed. This has been a very expensive struggle for us with mediocre outcome.

The contractor was supposed to find a shower stall knob but never did nor did he call to say that he couldn't find it. The caulking was somewhat sloppy however, the workers were very pleasant and cleaned up after themselves.

Good workwould recommend themto anyone. Took a little longer then anticipatedto complete job, but did a wonderrful job. Chuck & Lori

We were very pleased with the final outcome of our master bathroom. The workers were all very professional as well friendly and courteous. I am a stay at home mom and was 7 months pregnant at the time as well as dealing with a 2 year old - she and I would both need our afternoon naps and they made sure we had our space when we needed it. They worked independently and got the job done without me having to check on them.

The length of time to complete the work far exceeded the estimated time frame. First, the job coordinator left the company, then the assigned job supervisor suddenly stopped showing up. Work was being done only 1 day a week for several weeks. Although the second supervisor was engaged, some of the actual workers were somewhat unskilled or being "tried out" by the contractor. Most disappointing was the vinyl siding which was done by a young man who was obviously in over his head. Although several areas were corrected the overall job was not quality work.

The overall project ended with exceptional results. However, a three week project ended up being a 3 month project. We experienced poor coordination and communication about the details of the project.

The project has taken far longer than expected because of various timing problems. Coordination of the project was a disappointment.

None of our timeline has been met thus far and communication could have been better. I honestly believe that my project is somewhere down the line in the mist of others. I truly expected much more from Cavalier Builders because of the ratings

They took 6 months to complete a project that should have been done in 2-3 months, 2 of 3 people who started with this project are no longer with the company. Poor internal communication and people working to many projects at one time led to this project taking longer than it should have. I am still cleaning up nails and peices from the project from my yard

Although the job is not completed, the work so far has been very good. Response to arears of concern was promptly acted upon.Communications are excellent and workers are very professional. I will submitt a full report upon completion of the work; deck, screened porch and hot tub area.

Brian runs a first rate business and I would use Cavalier Builders for future projects. My wife and I love our new screened in porch and the craftmanship that they put into the project. Job well done!

The contractor never met his or our schedule. Several weeks behind, poor commmunication led to rework of items. They also tried to charge us extra for work that was within the scope of the contract. In the end the quaility of work by the subs was good but overall I would not recommend this company-

Brian Twiddy and his company are true professionals, there were no surprises. I am just amazed how quick they were and the quality of their work is just outstanding. I HIGHLY recommend them and I will have Brian come back and remodel my kitchen next.

the work is about 80% done and so far all i can say is THEY ARE EXCELLENT!

When the project first got underway, there was a break down in communication until Brendon Cooper took over the project. After he came onboard, there was not one flaw. When Mr. Cooper said something was going to happen, it did. I am very very pleased and satisfied with the outcome and I would not hesitate hireing upper deck construction for future projects with my house. Mr. Cooper is a very polite and respectible individual who can get the job done with little interferance to the home owner. I thank your company for all it has done for my family and I. My father had a great time with George and Justin. I hope to see you all in the future. Thanks again.

Had trouble with the communications. They were very slow in starting the job. Once work was started, had a few issues. The end result I am very happy with.

Brain did an awesome job!!! He's an honest down to earth family man. At first I was worried that I was paying a lot of money and going to get okay service but it was quite the opposite. He charged me good pricing and excellent service. Anyone around the virginia beach area may call if they would like to ask me more detailed questions about Brain or the job he did. This company and its on-site personnel are uniformly fantastic. I could not provide a stronger endorsement. They are simply the best.

Considering the job hasn't started yet do to VA complications, they are handling the job planning stage very well. Will rate when completed.

Project way behind schedule. Please resubmit request at end of February 2004 so i have a complete job to evaluate.
